LoturGallery Presenting MG Strike Noir ver. lotur ;D
ill do away with the usual shenanigans and go straight at the photos Here is Strike noir!
MG Rookie- before being assimilated into the army
Loturized ;D
The GFF-inspired decal-placement have been a major influence, so you might have noticed the throng of decals i used for this kit
The magic of water slide decals... look how smooth and seamlessly placed the attached decals are to the surface
Hey ma, no paint! ;D
one of my fave shots
this one too ;D
said it before and ill say it again: decals and flatcoat really make a difference!
change pose ;D
Lotur Army's very own hitman ;D
come get some
basic stills
the shoulder extensions, rear, chest vents, arm braces and v-fin were all marked gold
combo of waterslide/dry transfer and few sticker decals used for this utterly cool kit
chrome used for the hidden shoulder frame
as for the front skirts i also applied a touch of gold markings to highlight the edges, black and gold complement each other beautifully
cant wait to put this along with destiny and strike freedom in regiment 1
thats it for this wondrously terrific gundam. although short, i had a great time decalizing and color detailing this kit to my heart's content. Id say this kit is around 95% (pending cotton swab cleanup on some color/ panel ink marker smudge retouches and a final topcoat layer... just cant help taking photos na ;D
Hopefully other busy collectors and beginners like me (who either dont have much time due to work and lack the patience required for full-time modeling) picked up a thing or two from my simple no-paint gunpla approach.
Thanks for viewing!

LoturGallery feat Gouf Custom
As one of the army commanders, it was only a matter of time till our fearless leader finally get its long overdue photo shoot Never did a zaku variant look this good in pale blue! All hail the great Gouf Custom! ;D That sums up my Gouf Custom Catalog. Another great buy if i may say so, challenging to snap but at the same time very rewarding upon completion. Top coat it flat and you've got a heckuva finish that almost looks as good as the painted ones! Till next time for another MG dose ;D thanks for viewing! [/font]

LoturGallery Presenting MG Wing Zero VerKa
Ive been tinkering with a certain mobile suit from heero yuy for sometime now, me thinks its called wing verka or something ;D
kidding aside, ive been going wishy washy on whether or not to apply decals on it. To some extent something tells me its beautiful enough, then on another there's that itch saying more that can be done. But after the personal successes ive had with the strike noir and the GP02, i threw caution to the wind and said: "heck, another one wont hurt now would it?" ;D
Next to the strike noir, this is my favorite work yet The decals that came with the box are excellent and topnotch Truly Katoki!
Originally taken 7 months ago... how time flies ;D

more to the side, whew i cant get enough of this kit dang ;D
more "master by eskinol" poses ;D
did some twiddling with the head, put some custom cut decals into em
Strike Noir who? Im back to reclaim my throne!
forgot a full mech shot, here it is
experimenting with the angles
boom! one of my fave shots
that ends this euphoric session of the wing verka restoration very happy i chose it as the next loturized choices with that said im definitely going to start the wing zero custom next, or should i say "started already?" ;D
WZC updates soon, decalizing is starting to become as fun as purchasing kits lolz ;D
MG all the way Thats something i just had to say ;D thanks for viewing!

Loturized ;D trademark "spread mah wings" ;D top chest closeup decals are less prominent compared to that of wing verka's left wing proud as a peathingy ;D wings in gallant display from the side perspective from below descent ;D finishing touch with the spread pose This draws to a close the loturized series, hope you enjoyed them, i might do a group shot of the batch soon. The wip will shift back to the MG FAZZ in the coming days. MG all the way! Thanks for viewing

LoturHaulMGUC Feevah; HGUC all the way ;D Before i go to the hauls just wanted to share the battle scarred gunpla set ;D well- not really battle scared, just worn and torn by age ;D planning to restore them soon via weathering, glue and flatcoat back to the recycle bin you go ;D the next time i release these old timers ill make sure they're worthy of army camp assignments ;D with that out of the way, here is my latest haul for this week ;D thanks for the kits John/Trace! HGUC RX-78-2 with G-ArmorWith my MG army completion approaching the final leg, im slowly turning my attention to the next phase of the build up ;D just cant resist this kit! Grandpop with the whirly bird ;D The G-Armor reminds me a lot of Little John's voltes vehicle ;D MG Gun Cannon Here comes another grandpop! ;D Innards, cuddy well-rounded kit, almost devoid of any edge and corner for the design ;D PG Mismo shot of the day ;D Guncannon: Come get some ;D HGUC Zaku I Mass ProductionWithin, Mean and Green ;D HGUC Zudah! Excited to build this one ;D Whoa lots of decal stickers! LoturGalleryMG RX-78-2 version 2With flatcoat secure, time to work on the final touches for our mobile suit of the month ;D Shiny and everything nice- -yet still better to Loturize ;D full spendor ;D with some napalm rounds ;D close up hyper bazooka, love the ootb white-grey color implementation of this weapon- a first for the RX78 MG family showing off the leg articulation pretty stable, highly reminiscent of the OYW version near RX-78-2: PG mismo moment! ;D front top RX: my arm's gettin numb ;D Conventional snaps a lil to the left ;D Used excess verka decals for the shield, shoulders and the knees ;D Unlike before, i never went gunshy with the weapon decals ;D Perspective Rx-78-2: You talkin to me? (de Niro- Taxi movie rip off) ;D kiddin aside ;D arm is tight and stable enough to hold the weapon upwards Da big three ;D Each RX-78-2 had a distinct flavor into it- the ver Ka with its trademark Katokish appeal, the OYW with all the detailed intricacy, and the version 2 with its fresh/retro design Comparing the shields ;D Who's got the bigger package? ;D Parting shot To sum up the MG RX-78-2 version 2 experience, i realized that this can be a love-hate experience for gunpla fans- the former if you're focused with the rather original take, and the latter if you're a fan of more astig design details. Nonetheless, this kit delivers solidly devoid of any cheap gimmick, and the oh so good inner frame- truly a first for Master grades. If bandai retains this for its next MG designs (Zaku Cannon, Guntank etc) expect easier snapbuilds for the line, narrowing the gap to mainstream fans even more- heck, gundam figure-only collectors might even dig the MG because it wont be as time consuming as before Thats it for Bandai's MG 111, till the next (NG 1/100 Blue Frame as requested by mingsy) MG all the way ;D Thanks for viewing

LoturWorksMG Shin MushaWith the RX-78-2 officially entered into the army, its time to wip up the next RX78-based kit, but with a samurai flavor into it ;D Shin Musha paneling Gold marked the cheek plates Since the Musha is based on the OYW frame, the leg familiarity is easily distinguishable with the latter ;D For this wip, ill be returning to painting somewhat, really wanted a metallic touch to the pipe armor attachments Experimenting with gold combinations, i was not satisfied with the gold dragon colors, so i decided to go with brass gold instead Runners pre paint Main tree for the gold parts For the upper body First layer, boy... the plastic really absorbs the paint, but i was very careful not to overdo it as well ;D After a series of retouches the gold is ready ;D here too ;D Now back to the snapbuild- Its kind of boring returning back to the old frame set since i found the PGish RX78-2 ver2 frame build really enjoyable... Oh well you cant win em all ;D Intentionally left out the build for the portions with the gold parts (waiting for the paint to completely dry) I loved the "improved" manual implementation for the musha, the parts for build per section are already outlined beforehand, allowing for a more efficient tree cutting... btw the arms are done ;D thin flatcoat layer applied, done with the head (since the musha build is rather unorthodox from my previous routines, i completed the head portion midway) ;D About face! (teaser) ;D Thats all for now folks! Thanks for viewing

LOTUR'S ARMY The One-Year War Special Sept 2007 to 2008: A Look back into a year of collecting
One Year War? Pardon the pun ;D Its been approximately a year since i officially signed up on the greatboards, and what a ride it has been. I was looking over and drooling over the works of most kit collectors here- with raps, vayeate, no3ljm and uberjam as my primary influences. Along the way i got to see more awe-inspiring collections that forced me from becoming a daily lurker into finally joining myself. I was hesitant at first with barely nothing to show but after getting a boost of confidence from my handful of completed EW kits i decided to go for it. Collecting has been part of my life since i cant remember when, but no hobby brought me with more passion and joy outside of gundams. When i got my very first MG (Wing Zero Custom) last year, i realized then and there that this was the line im going to collect next. Master Grades became a staple, but along the way came great figures from the GFF line and just recently, the HGUCs began calling.
After making similar catalogs last December (Year end update) and February (100th page) i chose to make this new version in time for September. Slowly began shooting the kits as early as June, most of them were flatcoated and detailed already so it was inevitable to provide updated photos for each.
Unfortunately ive got a score of backlogs remaining which wont make the army cut, but for now here is where the army stands: (Gave them squad tags for ease of grouping ;D)
