LoturGalleryMore Regiment movementsThe assignments are not done, esp with the new recruits still lumbering around the training ground before being assimilated into the army camp ;D ok lets start with the bottom rankers ;D Real Detail Force Impulse Custom 1/60 Moves into the 5th regiment long lost cousin of count dracula ;D (hmm, i should have put it side by side with crossbone instead) ;D Speaking of crossbone, here it is side by side by the latest regiment four rookie- MG Spiegel Spiegel hams it up with its more illustrious Gundam G counterpart Spiegel to g: You're in my shadow this time you prick ;D Meanwhile, Regiment Three's RX family got bigger and much older, thanks to the very first MG of all- great grandpa RX78 version 1 ;D RX78 v1 (flanked at the front by OYW and Verka): Ill let em kids take the lead for now, good thing this shield still works fine as a shade, getting too old for this shi.t... ugh where's my arthritis pads? ;D Another level up into the Camp and we get the painted HGGS 1/144 Verde Buster My favorite 144s lined up together at Regiment 2! Verde Buster: Lemme at em ;D Playing neighbors at Regiment 2 is none other than the MG Zeta v2 A1 Custom Camo With the strike and hazel cavalry ;D At the far left is its ootb cousin, Zeta v2 Strike IWSP partially seen at top right too ;D Zeta A1 Custom: MG all the way- need i say more? ;D Regiment 1 sprung a few surprises, but i felt this kit needed top billing more than anyone else Unless i change my mind again (scatterbrain!) ;D MG Strike Launcher and Sword gundam Rolled both sets into one! With other noteworthy kits from the gunpla line ;D Great to see my camp is still holding up, i think it can squeeze more kits as i go along ;D On another note im almost done with the Real Detail 1/60 Wing Zero Restoration Will post it here soon, thanks for viewing! ;D

thanks for the props mmj! never imagined id be this much addicted into a hobby venture ;D one thing that really pulled me in is besides the collecting factor from usual toys, you have the option to make it even more beautiful. this is something that you just purchase then simply display and thats it- the modeling aspect of the line and total control made it definitely much more appealing imho i usually post Looking for threads in local gunpla boards, fortunate enough to meet retiring collectors that managed to give me packaged sets for their kits last year. i have some great modelers in mind who can help you with if you wanted to have your kit commissioned (i never really had one my orig kits made, just got lucky when they were unloading some of their stuff before) if you want i can pm them to you and from there you can ask for their commissioning rates so far i have catalogued around 215 of em, 80% MGs and scale 100s pending assignments are about 50 (unbuilt kits and built kits but not yet displayed) so its around 260 i think as for the army reasons, me and a bunch of pals are having a blast with alliances and war role playin stuff (not literally, just in our heads, playin around ;D), so its quite fun when new recruits come our way to counter theirs and vice versa ;D -all for fun and love for the hobby

Yeah i know the feeling, at least you build what you get which seems to be a fast turnover rate for you. I came accross the problem of buying but not building (I had about 80 kits unbuilt which i just recently begin to sell a few of them) I am also a victim of impulse buying, and the "gotta collect them all" syndrome, but I am only sticking to what i like now and also replaceing all HG with MG where possible (only collect 1/44 if it does not exisit in any other form (that includes action figures as well).
I also gave up the hobby in turn for just collecting completed figures and then i gave that up for a while too once i got married and had a kid (oh and that i was spending way too much didnt help either) but i recently went to OTAKON 08 and it reignited my passion so much that I am trying to do my kits justice and got an AB and now am attempting fill gaps and proper paint coats, etc.. First subcject Gebra Tetra! which i am going to do in Fire glow orange with Artic metalic blue accents.
Any way I admire your passion and dedication to the hobby and you do some pretty damn good builds yourself. They all look very clean and finished, especially your decal applications Loutorized all the way!! lol
I wish i had as many people into this fad around where I live as you do. So far its only me as my running mate has grown up lol But honestly i dont think i have come across anyone with as many gundam models as you.
Yes i would be interested in the future but more with resin kits (although I only have two left now) as I dont think im ready to tackle these on yet.
I assume you will be getting MG Shinanju & Infintie Justice. Can't wait to see those Loturized lol.
Keep it up man you have a fan here!

LoturRandoms RD Wing Zero and Shin Musha (with a special participation of the Voltron Lions)
Mini Updates ;D Found some photos of Musha's latest exploits (dang my bro is bringing my kits one at a time in the office when im not around ;D)
Musha at the Citi ;D
Musha slicin and dicin the voltron force ;D
Now here is the latest wip ( took months due to sked troubles ) also the last of the restoration ;D > Real Detail Wing Zero!
Nuthin' fancy, panel lining, the works
Since its a resto i did a custom v-fin for it ;D
before flatcoat
Afterwards, finally assigned into Regiment 1: bad shot- S is hogging the limelight ;D
Here is a better shot ;D
With the last of its kind (restoration kits that is) i can finally return to actual wips ;D Thinking of completing an SD first as a warm up, then proceeding to a backlog MG ( havent made one in months ) The PG strike rogue is also lined up before xmas so i guess its going to be a challenge squeezing all these plans into the sked, not to mention squeezing them into the cabinet lol ;D
Time to wrap it up, thanks for viewing!

LoturRandoms The devil's advocate
Long time coming, but here is my first snapbuild in a while ;D Speaking of the devil... ;D
SD Devil Gundam
I somehow loved the reversed shoulder plates ;D
Detailing is very important for this SD, managed to paint the hands with gray but the yellow spikes and pincers are still missing colors, i was expecting at least foil stickers but none were available, my painting backlog are starting to queue up ;D
Ok, shoulders back to normal ;D
Quite satisfied with how this turned out, but painting is a definite must for those who want this SD, im looking into trying the SD GP03s since its mostly a mix of white and blue, so color requirements might not be as tough
That rounds up another recruit ;D Thanks for viewing!
And btw just a small teaser of what's in store ;D
Lotur's Army presents
Stay tuned! ;D

LoturGalleryThe army welcomes the first SOC into the foldOkay, no theatrics this time ;D Skipping the Haul proper to go straight into the showcase portion ;D My inaugural Soul of Chogokin marks it Army debut- GX-02 Great Mazinger! I know very little about SOCs, so ill begin with the trademark poses Here we go! ;D GM: Im number One! ;DGM: Come and get some ya gundams ;DWith the stand and the flyer One thing about the SOC metallic, its very photogenic and breathtaking to capture Musha: Il shut yer trap you greasy retro junk ;D GM: You're a hundred years too noob to handle me kid, i was already pwning punks like you way before your old man [RX78-2] was born ;D Shin Musha vs Great Mazinger! Soul of Chogokin vs Master Grade! Enough of the comic relief lol ;D Time for G-Mazinga to strut some serious stuff Gurēto Boomerang!!! ;D With the flyer attached, dunno what its called ;D Mazinger Blades ;D Just bring it Oh boy, i could go on and on how photography friendly this mecha figure is, totally awesome- the die cast surface really enhances the robot, much the same way with flatcoat for kits With the gallery completed, this certainly belongs to Regiment 1 Exudes a different aura from the gundams ;D GP02, Strike Freedom and Destiny look irked ;D GP02: who's this twerp? ;D GM: im yer long lost poppa ye punk SF/Destiny: ..... In a nutshell, the GX-02 Great Mazinger is an eye opener, something refreshing and captivating. I'll be keeping a closer look into the SOC line in the future, add a couple more here and there to the army fold ;D Thats it for SOC night ;D Thanks for viewing!

THE MG COUNTDOWN Lotur's Army 200th page Special
orig content here
Its that time of the year again ;D but instead of focusing into the entirety id rather give more emphasis on the line that got me so passionately into this hobby (naks ;D) -the Master Grade series.
I dont think these two words go hand in hand but if i have to describe the experience it was "excruciatingly fun". ;D
Excruciating, primarily due to the mounting backlogs brought about by time constraints. Normally a completed kit of mine (panels, ink, detailing and cleanup from basic snapbuild) takes around 2 to 3 weeks on a staggered basis. Its based on an "ideal" scenario, think "actual" and work/RL understandably add up to the delay. This is one of the reasons why i settle mostly for built purchases and restore the kit on my own- thus shortening the process curve.
But can that be categorized as a gripe? Never ;D Its a positive drawback to begin. In such lies a very rewarding and enthralling journey that fills the kit on progress with a lot of history. Funfactor will always be there- and the longer the wait, the more we anticipate feverishly. And when the right comes we already know that its a great model waiting to happen- deserving to be lined up among others within the collection display.
These what makes the hobby tick imho, everyone gets their own share of the fun- novice, mainstreamer and hardcore alike.
So there ends my rants ;D Time to take a look back at where the MG army collection has taken me so far, built and unbuilt both included

Collection-wise the current MG total recruited (excluding doubles and special releases) is at 85 out of 116 total declared releases, with around 30 something to go... so near and yet so far ;D especially with how fast Bandai is releasing new Master Grades nowadays. Dang they just announced 14 MGs for this year! ;D
Regarding kit completion admittedly i have only scratched the surface (unbuilt, no decals, no detailing, no panel lines, no flatcoat etc). I can only count around 10 to 15 kits which i can say are totally completed, so each Master Grade will be revisited one time or another in the long run.
Looking forward to the rest of 2k8, the MG Hi-Nu gets priority wip, with either the Sinanju or the Infinite Justice rounding out the year (2007 end of year was Unicorn)
And on that note this completes our 200th page coverage ;D Hope you buy more MGs ;D uhm, take a closer look at this gunplamo line in the future ;D Sorry for the intensive photos- decided not to go with thumbnails for the special ;D
Thanks for viewing and for all your support MG ALL THE WAY!
