LoturGallery PG Strike Rogue
Never have been a real fan of Cagali- but for the mecha its an entirely different story ;D
The PG Strike Rogue mobile suit has been a target wip for sometime Ootb it was nice- and it always had the size, so without further ado time to roll the dice lol ;D
Lets have it-
Back into Regiment One you go ;D Assumed the Sword Impulse pose for a change ;D
The torso was topcoated with semi gloss to highlight the chest designs imprint on the crimson red. The aile striker was sprayed with typical top clear to accentuate the reddish elements without being too plasticky, the rest were already suitable for flatcoating.
Thats it for the PG Strike Rogue series, not as detailed as my previous wips but just the same it was a satisfying experience
MG Hi-Nu coming soon ;D Thanks for viewing!

LoturHaul 144 Rebellion
First of id like to extend my thanks to genji and sherylnome for the kits, rest assured that they will part of the frontline infantry soon ;D
For this recruitment phase decided to focus primordially on the 1/144 platoon mecha build up, see if it can some day challenge the 1/100 and MG domination ;D
Here goes! ;D
HGGSD Force Impulse
HGGS Gunbarrel
HG00 Tieren Space Commander
HG00 Flag
HG00 Kyrios
HGGS BuCue Hound Kerberos Type
HGUC Gelgoog Marine
HGGS Mobile Ginn Camouflage Custom Great job on the AB vic!
HGGS Miguel's Ginn
HGUC ZGok E Easily a favorite design- i finally nailed a zgok kit!
HGUC Qubeley MkII boy how i wished there was an MG version of it, nonetheless its a very cool hguc! ;D
HGUC Rick Dias Quattro Red Pending MG kit that turned up first on my HGUC platoon ;D
HGUC RX178-2 MkII AEUG
HGGSD Zaku Warrior
RD 1/60 God Gundam One of the best panel lining works ive ever had, will try to study on how genji did this very cleanly and solidly
HG 1/100 Harry's Sumo Love the gold scheme of this one, the kit is definitely advanced for its time back then
Now here comes my adopted items! ;D 1/100 V2 Assault Buster Freebie from genji! thanks man! ;D
The rest of the adopts:
HG 1/144 Heavy Arms Clear
HG Turn X Black paneling and this is all set ;D
HG Gundam X
That should do it for the latest recruits showcasing the 144 line. MGs and 1/100s still lord it over on the army landscape, but for how long? ;D
Thanks for viewing!

LoturHauls Operation: Revoltech
After a year, my bandai love affair took a slight turn- but for good reason ;D Something's been clawing at me for the past few months- an itch that just wont go away ;D
As a result i finally gave in- and the chosen Army line is none other than the Revoltech brand
And what a way to usher in a new era by welcoming the new batch of recruits ;D
GO REVO! ;D (shameless plug) ;D
VF-1J Max Version
VF-1S
YF-19
VF-1J Hikaru Version
YF-21
Black Getter
Getter 1
Getter 2
Getter 3
Regult
Shin Getter
VF-1A
The New Army Revoltech Platoon ;D
Box shots of this week's recruits
Sorry for the subpar shots (cellphone), will update them come gallery proper
One thing i thoroughly enjoyed in this line is the playability and the articulation- lots of potential for nice poses! ;D Hopefully i can subject them one by one into studio treatment soon.
Im still familiarizing with the mecha ABCs (esp the macross ones ;D) so itll take a while to get the hang of it and finalize my recruit list. Planning to target only mech-based revos as recruits, me thinks it will be a blast going after them ;D
MG all the way currently on short vacation- for now its gonna be GO REVO ;D
Thanks for viewing!

@mmj thanks man! ;D hopefully finding the mecha revo variants wont be that difficult hahahaha its neither bro, im just fortunate that kits go much cheaper here in the Philippines compared to there although if given the chance id love to stay there for good ;D As for my latest hauls these are mostly resale, so i have to restore some of em according to my specifications ;D taking a semi vacation from the MG wip, too busy with work and other things right now due to the coming holidays, i was hoping to begin the MG Hi Nu but to no avail, oh well il try to nail it soon though ;D

LoturWorksRestoring some 144sGutted down to 144 resto work once the Revo euphoria simmered down ;D Made the usual routine prior to cab display, its bootcamp time for some of these kits before regiment placement! ;D Not entirely finished on them yet due to time constraints but this will do for now ;D Rick Dias Red (Sprue cleanup and mild paneling/gluing) Kerberos BuCue Hound (dust cleanup, mild paneling) MkII AEUG (sprue and decal sticker cleanup) Z'Gok E my current favorite from the latest 1/144 haul ;D (Panel line touch up) Mobile Ginn (Shoulder gluing, weapon panel detailing) GunBarrel (Gluing of some parts) God Gundam (Joints gluing, clean up) Sumo (Dust/print clean up, Gluing) V2 Assault Buster (Gold detailing, panel lining, joints gluing) Heavy Arms Custom ver. Lotur ;D (since the v-fin is missing, i used a hazel advanced head attachment as replacement, quite purplish so it fit the HA well, looks a bit like tallgeese now) Gundam X (Found a spare hazel v-fin, sanded the middle a bit to replicate the actual gx fin somewhat ;D) Turn X (Heavy Panel lining and cleanup, joints are still very tight! ) The rest of the recruited kits needed no restoration for now, although panel lining is a must eventually, along with several revoltechs ;D Thats it for this update, sorry the MG Hi-Nu is still pending, maybe soon ;D thanks for viewing!

Yeah i keep hearing that on your forum! How do you guys get them so cheap, too bad the American $$ is still in a rut as kits have gotten even more expensive.
Do you only collect kits or do you venture in to MSIA and FIX territories?
I hear you on the time issue, so many gundam so little time, I havent built one in a while (my gebra tetra has been primed for over a month!!) and the AB i just bought is collecting dust lol.

^dollar to peso wise, we end up getting kits and figs around 20% cheaper than those in the states and in canada, i guess it helps that most local retailers have direct contacts in japan and its really not that far from here. In HK collectibles are even way more cheaper, around 30% to 45% savings from the local shops here. i guess even with the good standard cost of living ratio there in the US what makes it difficult for you guys are the taxes and shipping stuff, and its a bummer that most items are only available online and not much hobby shops to go around then again despite the sluggish economy the US is still in much, much (to the nth degree) better shape than the PIs for the MSIA i only have the devil gundam, for GFFs a handful of those i really liked (Deepstriker, Psycho, Shin Musha, Dendro and Penerope). I still prefer kit building over the figures as it allows me to be in control, even if its bought snapbuilt i restore it according to my specifications you basically have the same problem as vic and jnthn, some of my colleagues out there in the US, the weather can be a bummer too... hope you get the chance to paint soon!

LoturGalleryUnleashing the MG Hi Nu Part 1 of seriesAs the trials continue for the D40x settings, i guess its better to proceed with the actual photoshoot and learn as i go along Managed to take a few shots so far, tweaking to and fro aperture settings and exposure levels once more to find the best combination depending on focal length. Here are the results of the mini photoshoot, and its time to shift focus from the camera into the star of this gallery episode- the next Army Lieutenant- MG Hi Nu! ;D LOTURIZED ;D Chromed the pistons on the lower thigh ;D One thing that sets the D40x apart (like any other DSLR) is the noise tolerance, the waterslide decals were justifiably represented in the plamo surface by virtue of the noise-free photos This was only the second time i used up waterslides exclusively for a Master Grade (the last was Force Impulse) Pushed the focal length way down to 18mm for this parting shot I have to apologize for the rehashed poses, the mental aspect of the photoshoot was quite draining, thinking of ways to blend the different modes. Focused on the photo result quality for this first part of the Hi Nu gallery, will deal with more poses on part 2 onwards To sum it up i still believe that im scratching the surface of DSLR handling, everything's at the tip of the iceberg- especially the lighting. If by some chance i get some sunshine for outdoor lighting i will definitely do it- but for now the experiments continue ;D Thanks for viewing Part 1! The D40x and the MG Hi Nu makes for a dreaded one-two combination! ;D MG all the way! ;D

LoturGalleryMG Wing ver.kaFinally got the chance to make some more shots, used the Wing ver ka MG this time out ;D But before that i just wanna show some of the household pets i used as photo test subjects lol ;D Sugar glider and the love birds ;D Intermission over- ;D Settings for this shoot op will again be biased towards the fill flash, but with the old black backdrop now available Since we are talking about birds, there's no gundam bird better than this one ;D MG Wing ver. ka MG all the way! ;D The final shot was made with shutter priority, inadvertently had the exposure level too low, result was still cool though ;D With that said im planning to move forward into the final wip of the year- the MG Nu, will try to accommodate the kit during the hectic yuletide the Hi Nu needs a pardner ;D it takes two to tango! ;D Thanks for viewing! MG all the way ;D

LoturGalleryRegiment UpdatesWith the new cam and all i thought it be alright to update the camp gallery. The timing couldnt be more perfect esp with the entry of the revos and the 144s. Ive always had lighting problems with the Army HQ and this time its no different even with the flash Shots were still a tad better though ;D Format followed will be similar to pre vayeate's, i love how he cataloged his stuff then and since i prolly wont be moving these kits for months this'll do ;D Regiment 1aBeing the centerpiece gallery, this is where i keep my most favorite recruits ;D It also provides shelter to the larger scales, which definitely wont fit on the other regiments. From L-R: SD Devil, PG WZC, GFF Psycho, RD Wing zero (behind Psycho), Revo Getter 2, Revo Black Getter, MG S, SD GP03D, Revo YF-19, MG Ext S, Revo Shin Getter, MG GP02s, MG Destiny, MG SF, Revo VF1j max, PG Char's Zaku and SOC Great MazingerRegiment 1bPending decals with the MG Freedom and Perfect Zeong, the Reg Z made its way into the regiment by virtue of its vertical clearance requirement ;D From L-R: MG Reg-Z, PG Strike Rogue, HGUC Psycho, MG Hi-Nu, MG Strike Noir, Revo Regult, MG Force Impulse, Revo Getter 1, MG Freedom, MG Perfect Zeong, MG Sword/Launcher Strike and Revo VF-1SRegiment 2aLots of space huggers here ;D My second favorite regiment- its getting predictable huh ;D But seriously most of the kits here are MG 1/100s and a few 144s, with most of them having display stands. Katoki is my favorite design (hope he makes more MGs!!!) so the GFFs are all here From L-R: NG Strike Custom, GFF GP03D, HGM Dendro, MG Unicorn, HGUC Striker, MG Wing ver ka, NG Infinite Justice, MG Super Gundam, MG Ball ver ka, MG Aile Strike, MG/HGUC Gun Cannon, HGUC Gun Cannon MP, HGUC Hazel Owsla and a couple of HGUC Advanced Hazels Regiment 2bMost of the Hazels are lumped together at this regiment, as well as the remainder of my Katoki GFFs From L-R: GFF Penerope, GFF Shin Musha, NG Legend, NG Buster Custom, MG Zeta version 2, MG Rick Dias, Revo Getter 3, MG Strike Rogue, HGUC Quel, Revo VF-1A, HGUC Hazel 2, MG Zeta A1 Camo Custom, Revo VF-1J hikaru, HGUC Hazel Custom (partly hidden), MG Strike IWSP, HGUC Hazel Custom, HGGS Verde Buster Custom, GFF Deepstriker and HGUC Hrairoo Regiment 3aI went a bit creative with this regiment, on the left portion are the zeons, and at the latter half is the RX-78 clan ;D Its a packed house in here, but there's still room for several UC kits in there somewhere (im too lazy to relocate em ;D) Here is the army principality ;D A lot of zakus are still in the backlog depot SIEG ZEON! ;D From L-R: ArchEnemy Char's Gelgoog, MG Sazabi, MG Kampfer, MG Acguy, MG Char's Gelgoog OYW, MG Gyan, MG Gogg, MG Char's Dom, MG Qubeley, MG Rick Dom, HGSSD Zaku Warrior, MG Qubeley MkII, MG Zaku 2 Tri Stars version 2, HGSSD Zaku Concert version, MG Dom, MG Zaku 2 Matsunaga Custom, MG Gouf Custom and HGUC Z'gok ERegiment 3bAs mentioned here is the RX family, still missing out on the Casval RX (awaiting the recruit from migs ;D), i guess its a zeon but imho it belongs here ;D with the zeons as their neighbors you can cut the tension with a knife lol ;D From L-R: MG GP01, MG GP03s, MG RX178 Titans version 1/2, MG F91 Harrison Custom, MG F91, MG GP01fb, MG RX178 AEUG version 1, MG Hyaku, MG RX178 Titans version 1, MG Hyaku Ballute, HG00 Tieren Space Type, MG RX178 Titans version 1, MG RX178 AEUG version 2, ArchEnemy RX-78-2, HGUC RX-78-2 with G Fighter, MG RX-78-2 version 1.5, MG Perfect Gundam, MG Shin Musha, MG RX-78-2 version 2, MG-RX-78-2 Chrome version 1, MG RX-78 NT Alex/Full Armor, MG RX-78-2 version 1, MG RX-78-2 ver ka, MG GP01fb, MG RX-78-3 and MG RX-78-2 OYWRegiment 4aHere are several assorteds, but you can easily distinguish the more dominant lines like the astrays, zetas and the SDs The Astrays and SDs dominate this division. Loaded the new recruits from vic here as there's hardly any space in the other regiments ;D From L-R: SD Elmeth, HGGS Astray Amatu, SD Hyper Spiegel, SD Hyper god, NG Red Astray, NG Exia, NG Red Astray 2nd L, SD Heavy Arms, SD Zaku Lunamaria, NG Blue Astray 2nd L, SD BygZam, SD Strike FWS Banpresto, NG Red Astray, SD SandRock, SD Sazabi, MG Shining, HG 144 Tallgeese 3, SD Wing, NG Astray, HG 144 Tallgeese 2, HG 144 Tallgeese 1, NG Gold Astray and HG00 KyriosRegiment 4bThe Zetas, RX178s and other miscellaneous kits- no zeta unicorn yet ;D From L-R: MG FAZZ 10-A, MG FAZZ 10-S Sentinel, PG Skygrasper, HGGS Gunbarrel, SD Skygrasper Banpresto, MG RX-79G Ground Type, HGUC Qubeley MkII, MG Ez8, MG Zeta version 1s, MG Zeta A1 Custom, HGUC Gelgoog Custom, MG Crossbone FC, HGUC RX178 AEUG, MG Crossbone/s, HGUC Char's Rick Dias, MG GM Ground type, HGGS Miguel's Ginn, HGGS Ginn Camo Custom, MG GM Kai, MG god and MG SpiegelRegiment 5aAs we go deeper, the more we go retro ;D Old 144s along with the newer NGs from seed and seed destiny From L-R: HG 144 Griepe, NG Justice, NG Strike Bazooka set, NG Freedom, HG 144 Hydra, NG Buster, NG Strike Dagger set, HG 144 Deathscythe Hell, NG Sword Strike set, HG 100 Nataku Dreadnought Custom, NG Assault Shroud, HG 144 Deathscythe Hell Custom, NG Aegis, NG Providence, HG 144 Serpent Custom, HG 100 Master and HG 144 Vayeate Regiment 5bStanding out here are the two real details i got a while back. The bigote boys ;D ham it up top left with my ONLY non-gunpla kit Eva Type F ;D From L-R: Archenemy Tallgeese 3, HG Eva Type F, HG 100 Turn A, MG Turn A, HG 100 Double X, HG00 Exia G-Arms, NG Savior, NG Destiny, HGGS Kerberos Bucue, NG Sword Impulse, HG00 Flag, MG RX178 Resiklo Custom, NG Force Impulse, HG 144 Force Impulse, RD Force Impulse Custom, HGGS Blitz, MG RX178 GP03 Hybrid Custom, RD god and MSIA devilRegiment 6aNow here are the real oldies ;D most of these kits came out when i was barely out of puberty so lets pay homage to these elders lol ;D Kidding aside this is where the passion really began, without the wing and x variants i wouldnt have had been introduced to gunpla in the first place I took my time restoring some of the retro 144s because i just can seem to find it in me to throw or give em away ;D From L-R: HG 100 Deathscythe Hell, HG 100 Virsago, HG 100 WZC Chrome, HG 100 Heavy Arms ver ka Custom, HG 100 Deathscythe Hell Custom, HG 144 Sandrock, HG 100 Serpent Custom, HG 100 WZC, HG 100 Sandrock Custom, HG 100 Wing, HG 100 Rising, HG 100 Epyon, HG 100 Nataku Black Custom, HG 144 Wing, HG 144 Heavy Arms, HG Shenlong, HG 144 Epyon, HG 100 Nataku and HG 100 Deathscythe modifiedRegiment 6bMore wing kits, although the highlight here would have to be the victory kits (lucky to nab those) For the wing set i have yet to score on a Tallgeese 3 scale 1/100 kit. For some reason im holding back on it because i feel that it deserves more than the usual snapbuild. Im leaning towards commissioning a modeler for the tallgeese 3 wip but we'll see (its one of my most admired designs in gundamverse) From L-R: HG 144 Sandrock Custom, HG 100 Wing, HG 100 Altron, HG 100 Harry Sumo, HG 100 Epyon Custom, HG 144 WZC, HG 100 Tallgeese, HG 100 Deathscythe, HG 100 V2 Assault, HG 144 Gundam X, HG 144 Turn X, HG 100 V2, HG 100 Heavy Arms Custom, HG 100 Gundam X, HG 100 Shenlong, HG 100 Gundam X, HG 144 Tallgeese Clear, HG 100 Wing, HG 100 Deathscythe Hell, HG 100 Wing Zero, HG 144 Wing Zero, HG 144 Leopard, HG 144 devil final form, HG 100 Deathscythe and HG AltronCamp Revelation ;D The hideous flash is an eye sore, but it'll do ;D Just a little something ive noticed about the cab, the sliding door is beginning to be a problem, i guess it needs lubricant (hahaha dont go there! ;D) to loosen out the joints ;D With this out of the way kit galleries will be in store for the next updates. Moving forward im thinking of doing a similar dalong gallery for my own collection, but on a more subdued level and with better shots ;D Will take my time with that though as the next year rolls along Thanks for viewing and hope you enjoyed the BI session hahaha! j/k ;D Gunpla Mismo!
