Yeah, I just read a press release on these and was coming to post it. The website sells the figures for $30 each, the bike for $40, and since they're sold through amazon the shipping is free! They also have joints coming soon for $5 a bag, pliers for $1.90, and box 3 packs for $6.
Looks like they'll be releasing a different series each season, starting with Chapter 1 in the winter, 2 "coming soon", 3 in the spring, and 4 in the summer.

This is really fantastic. I just opened Cyber today. The figures come with the outer cardboard box and have the bonus bagged container and chip that the reissues and newer releases have included. I'm eagerly awaiting the next releases! [...]BTW were the other two assemble borgs released? the red and blue ones? Yup, all four items in the third wave came out, and the first two Assault Gears are out now too.

I'm really happier about that price point. I loved the look of these figures but the price point was just too high! but now this seems a bit better to stomach!

I'm really happier about that price point. I loved the look of these figures but the price point was just too high! but now this seems a bit better to stomach! Totally agree. Even though I have gotten a few of these at the premium price it's actually kinda tough not to go and grab another Barrels speeder and a Cyber figure right now. Might have to cave in soon and just get me a Cyber (which I don't have yet). This new price tier might help folks who haven't picked up these great figures yet. Speaking of the Barrels Speeder. Looks like Barron and Cyber are getting hooked up with rides of their own! assembleborg.com/04_assaultgear/bs_special/index.htmlAlso here's a pic and a link to my custom Zain gallery. plamowarriordx.com/Gallery/album84

Wow, that red Ass'borg looks awesome! I'm growing to like these Assembleborg character revoltechs; their body sculpts and designs look really simple. They do remind me so much of the '70s Micronauts figures. I think I'll fetch me an Ass'borg, the black one with the crazy hairdo, and play around with it... perhaps I might wanna try making custom figs from it someday. zozo-Magengar

I wanna know if the Assembleborgs come from an anime, a manga, or a videogame? While Assemble Borgs are not necessarily from an anime or a video game, their creator(s) has DEEP roots in anime, manga and gaming. You may have heard of Yasuhiro Nightow, the creator of Trigun and Gungrave(video game). He's also the founder of the branch title of Kaiyodo called Toytribe. Other creators include Yutaka Minowa (Vampire Hunter D, designs) and mech designer Noriyuki Jinguji (Zegapain). See: www.assembleborg.net/01_blastoff/product/index.html#designerOn an interesting note, during my recent viewing of the Trigun anime, I noticed episode 21 of the show actually features what looks to be some early prototype character designs of what we now know as Assemble Borgs. Here's a reference of one of the character designs from the show. It's one of the puppets controlled by Leonof the Puppet-Master. Check out the clip at 4:39 of the show For the newer Aborg releases. I like Zira28 from ebay. Awesome seller from Japan. shop.ebay.com/zira28/m.htmlAnd of course Amazon has started it's campaign as well. Thanks to dokuroking for the pictoral release guide on the fly!

Hmm can u use the chips towered the newer figures? According to the trade in sheet with 100 chips h can get an AB of you're choice. That'd be sweet cuz I have over 200 Pts and I need two!! The way I interpreted it was that you only get a choice of one of the three gold-plated chested Aborgs. Mr A, Barron or Cyber. The other choice is a mystery bag that includes the "newest" Revoltech release, T-shirt, pliers, stickers, etc... . The choice is up to Kaiyodo, but technically if the newest release is a Assemble Borg Revo then you could get that, or it could be a Yamaguchi release. My feeling is that it would prolly be one of the newer Yamaguchi revos. We'll see! I don't know how, but it seems I've accumulated 100 points too! I was going to use them to get Cyber, but I got him from Amazon (with my 100th chip). So, now I think I'm going to use it for the mystery bag now. ;D

If anyone has any extra revochips they're not going to use please PM me I can use a bunch more! Here is the way the chip exchange works, there are four main choices and only Course B offers an additional choice. Everything else is random. You must use a proxy or a have someone with a Japanese mailing address apply for the items as they do not offer this option in the US (at least not yet). Here are the options: Course A: Lucky Bag: 100 pointsIncludes one of the newest Revoltechs. Revopliers and other items. Items are chosen at random, no choice. Course B: Exclusive Assembleborg: 100 pointsChoice of: B-1: Mr, Assemble With Gold Chrome B-2: Baron With Gold Chrome B-3: Cyber With Gold Chrome Course C: Mini Mr. Assemble: 50 pointsTranslucent White, Black, or Clear Black Color is chosen at random. Course D: Revopliers and Revocontainter: 30 pointsSpecial Color versions Colors are chosen at random Hmm can u use the chips towered the newer figures? According to the trade in sheet with 100 chips h can get an AB of you're choice. That'd be sweet cuz I have over 200 Pts and I need two!!
