Thanks for your reply and your welcome.
I am hoping the Secret Note that comes with Chapter 5 has more information on what comes after.
I have to admit, I have been a fan of the figures from Chapter 5 from the first time I saw the sketches. They look a lot better than the Chapter 3 figures.

I picked up a few sets in the kaiyodo shop last night. I wish I had bought more. They had work shop just to play with them and make new combinations. I will post some pics when I get back.

Sad news, it looks like the first wave of Assemble Borg is no longer available on the US Amazon. The products aren't appearing on search for me and the links on the official English site assembleborg.net go to "currently unavailable" pages for A, B, and C and a 404 for the TriStriker. Not an earth-shattering shock, but still too bad.
A couple of months ago I got caught up with wave 3 and did some assembling. I'll try to get some pictures in here soonish, I can't believe I still haven't gotten around to it.
Has anyone else put anything new together or picked up any of the new stuff?

I started playing around with these. I think some of these parts go well with items outside the line. The DOTM Prime may be a perfect fit with AB parts.

The black speeders are cool, but hard to photograph. I wish they had more silver ones.

www.assembleborg.com/05_devilmorph/product/lineup.html#lastLooks like this is it for AB. On September 1 the last figure is releasing, which is the basic body in "gunmetal" with six heads and six breastpieces. The first three are heads and chests of Mr. Assemble, Baron and Cyber again (the silver looks like paint instead of chrome, though), but the others seem to be new parts. I think it looks good. Mr. Assemble Version Baron Version Cyber Version Nightow Version Jinguji Version Minowa Version Notice the names? I don't think there's any doubting that Nightow and friends really had a personal interest in this line ポージングが自在に決まる! Is determined to pose freely!Rest in piece (ha?) Assemble Borg. You were great.

Wow! That is a nice looking figure. I will definitely be getting this to celebrate a really creative branch of revoltech.
Nightow and the crew; what can you say about them? Fantastic work, gentleman. I wish the line would continue and I certainly wish AB would have seen a more mainstream release (probably what sunk AB). Can't say I didn't really see this coming what with he lack of news and releases. I just...can't believe it's over.
Now to try and find one or two of the last Devilmorph wave.

i guess im not that sore that its over, they werent the easiest figures to get a hold of and more expensive then other revols.... you really needed a few of each to get real creative as well. so now i dont have to worry lol

I thought it was a really great line. It was expensive to import at first, but then it became reasonable on Amazon for some of the kits. I hope they go on clearance so maybe I can get a few more to make stuff with.

Long time no post...but here goes... My long absence certainly doesn't mean I haven't been lurking and more importantly collecting (+/-360 Revoltech figures alone at this point...including two of each AB kit through Devilmorph). I'm generally just too busy with personal and professional matters (aka life) to also participate in any of my old haunts these days (I think it's been about 1 year or so now). The one upside is that I can spend plenty of money each month on toys if I want (after paying bills, living rather comfortably, saving money, and generally being responsible no less)... Anyway, needless to say (and while I sit here looking at my most recent four legged, 10 armed, 2x Devils Blood, 2x Doom Diver AB custom) I translated the article and I'm a little confused as to where this being the FINAL release was anything more than implied by a rather vague and cryptic phrase in parentheses no less reading ("Final Production"). I don't see a specific explanation as to what that means though...and this is PURE speculation, but between the English found on the back page of the last (Volume 5) comic "the great mystery will be revealed (2012)", there are 2 unreleased vehicles that were shown in the concept sketches (shown in one of the Revo encyclopedia books), and there is definitely room for growth with this line...that statement could simply mean this is the final release of the Mr. Assemble body type (or something similar) and not a complete abandoning of the property...we all know how translations of Japanese Kanji are often garbled... Unless someone can provide something else to corroborate those two words I wouldn't read too much into that quite yet...though I will admit that it doesn't look good with the nature of this release (minimalist on parts, custom variant heads and chests representing major stakeholders) it seems like this is either the end or the beginning of something completely different. Honestly, I really felt when I ordered the last wave of figures that I was likely ordering the last of the AB figures that were going to be made...though I still hoped that the vehicles would come to fruition as two final kits. I'm not going to be too surprised OR too saddened to see it end since I have 100s if not 1000s of parts to build with, and haven't even really enjoyed much of what I have as it is as of yet... Honestly, the apparent change in direction for the Revoltech line (slow down in Yamaguchi mecha and other interesting product) and now with the potential conclusion of the AB line upon us, I'm a little saddened by what is starting to feel like the end of an era (for me). I've infilled with a few of the current and upcoming figma (Accel World, Nintendo, Robocop, Fireball, BRS, etc) figures and have backfilled a few older items in other collections...but it quickly feels like the collection's growth rate is slowing, it is reaching it's threshold...there is something like 800+ figures on display, so maybe it's time So, can anyone confirm or deny with a secondary source regarding ABs apparent (and premature) conclusion?

Hey phoenixx, good to see you again after so long. You do have a point, and I suppose it's possible that I've jumped the gun here. I guess the main thing here is " 最終生産 ", which the internet translates as last/final production. That, combined with the nature of this figure, is what led me to my conclusion. If I assumed too much, I'm sorry to all of you -- I as much as anyone hope this line continues. To complicate the matter a little further, the news section of the AB site ( assembleborg.jugem.jp/) hasn't been updated since July 3 of this year, with the text
which Google translates to Assemble Borg about the next expansion
Half a year, but did not have an announcement about the next expansion is released from Chapter 5, there is a HP announced at the official on July 15, everyone, please wait for a while.
Figure King Issue in late June release, it was announced and has been described on July 5, July 15, is correctly.
That by mis-representation, and the inconvenience to everyone, I apologize. The repeated use of "next/following" seems odd if this is indeed the final figure. But so does the figure's inclusion in Chapter 5, the Devilmorph wave. I don't know what HP stands for here; knowing that might help. It's possible that that Figure King issue would shed some light on this too, but that wouldn't be easy to obtain and even harder to (quasi-)translate. One of the strangest things to me is that we haven't gotten an email newsletter since January 4 (or at least I haven't). I guess time will tell on this one, I don't know where else to dig for now.

Hey, thanks for the "welcome back" guys...I really do stop through real quick a couple times a week to keep up on things, so I'll still be around, just more quiet these days... I really hate that my "return" has only been under these pretenses...and my apologies to Cyrano for doubting your post above, but I wanted to report what I found this morning on Tomopop... www.tomopop.com/revoltech-brings-the-gods-and-bots-in-these-new-scans-26123.phtmlThat is enough confirmation for me...Assemble Borg really IS ending with this next figure...sad to see it ending...again, especially since it seems that things are really slowing down across the board for Revoltech in general...heck, collecting in general for me personally...but my wife will probably be happier and bank accounts will probably be better off... I'm going to try and post some overall collection and custom images over the coming week in honor of the end... On a side note: please bear with me as I also happen to be in the middle of completing planning/design and entering execution phase on two software applications, I'm actively being promoted to the senior/lead position (over the leadership team no less), AND interviewing for the highest paying, most exciting, and most awesome job I will personally have ever had this week. Seriously, this would be a well deserved (I've sacrificed a LOT of personal time to get here) and a HUGE step up for me...not much higher to go in my career if I get this...and that is the fourth time that I will say that about a different MAJOR professional career path in my life...and I'm only 37...and based on my resume, credentials, references, portfolio, and my preparedness for the afternoon of interviews coming on Tuesday I'm feeling GREAT! But I will be an AW and say that any well wishes, thoughts, and prayers will be graciously accepted! That said, I'm going to be pretty busy this week...but next weekend I hope to have more time to relax...

I was half sleep this morning when I opened up my email and saw the first Assemble Messenger newsletter in months. I couldn't believe it. Was it spam? Was it sent to taunt me because I didn't make good on my promise to buy the "Last Run" Basic Body or any more of the DevilMorph series? No! Just when you thought it was over....; You thought your wallet was safe; you thought the Revoltech had nothing more to offer....you thought Assemble Borg was DEAD! You thought wrong! Behold!! ASSEMBLE BORG NEXUS!!!So, I'm not sure whether Kaiyodo are continuing the line or just releasing one last body before calling it kaput, but it looks awesome!
