Not sure if this will count as a necro post cuz the topic is pinned, but what the heck Just a question for you vintage collectors, do you display your vintage gokins (DX/ST) with the spring loaded fists/missiles attached? I don't display my robot toys so no idea or experience about spring tension going bad or plastic shattering because the spring is too strong. But I do have a vintage Bandai Gorilla Game toy that I truly regret keeping in "loaded" position. Actually, the toy will not fit inside the box if it's not in the loaded position so I just assumed it's gonna be fine even after several years. Yeah, stupid move The toy has a very strong spring action to make all the chains pop out. One day, the mechanism inside shattered, obviously because the plastic is not that strong anymore to resist the tension due to age I searched for a similar toy to show you how it works but I only saw a "re-badged" one. Mine has the Japanese stickers on em. To give you an idea of how strong the spring action is on this toy, visit the link below and scroll down a bit to see it in action. Bandai Gorilla Game/Kid Kong Escape GameHope this will serve as a lesson to those who keep the firing fists or missiles attached to their vintage pieces while on display for a long period. Although the results may vary, either the spring will contract and loose its tension, OR the unthinkable, the plastic might shatter
