I just bought Mazinger Z Infinity on Blu-ray. Do you guys recommend I completely watch the complete Mazinger Z (1972) and Great Mazinger Z (1974) series before watching this? Or is it cool to jump right in? I'm about 1/4 of the way with the 1972 series.

yea its recommended to know the classic show in general
Mazinger z is very enjoyable i watched it more than 4 times, in 3 different languages as well lol, Great Mazinger however is less enjoyable since some episode are just a filler

i thought it wont be a fair match since Mazinger z is bigger and its a super robot comparing to the transformers, i was like kouji kabuto doesn't even need to pilot Mazinger z the pilder will be enough lol

to fair tho and no disrespect for the dude who perform the song he is not as good as the original guy who did it

Legendary Arabic-dubbed anime singer Sammy Clark who sang the original Grendizer intro is the same man who sang it some days ago at the Saudi Anime Expo. He just got too old, so thanks God he is still able to stand up 'n' perform the way he did it onstage.
