Remeber that Mazinger Z was already severely damaged in the final fight against Dr. Hell and Count Decapito, in which it destroyed the island and the Flying Fortress Goul. It was not repaired after that battle because nobody knew about the Mikene Army. So it went to battle damaged and weak.
Mazinger Z then got an upgraded armor and boosted power output at the end of Great Mazinger series, that's why it was so powerful then.
Great Mazinger was NOT able to stand to Mazinkaiser. It tried, but was not able to do anything but get beaten. On Great Mazinger's behalf, it was already all messed up from the wooping Mazinger Z (Ashura Mazinger) gave it prior to it meeting Mazinkaiser, so I gotta give it a break...

Nah, Grendizer sucked on land and sea. The anime clearly shows it. In space it was in its element, so it performed at its best. Mazinger Z was never a punshing bag, it just happened that the enemy robots were way more aggresive than Koji. Great Mazinger, on the other hand, always sucked. I can't recall one episode where it didn't get almost destroyed. }D Grendizer, the King of the Mazinger canon never sucks, dude! You should speak about his majesty in a better way You just hate him ( raw hatred)...and loves Mazinger Z (blind love). The bad news is Mazinger Z is the weakest of 'em all ;D Live with it. LOL! OK, could you tell me in which episode did the King Grendizer sucked on a battle on the ground? This is Grendizer's first battle on planet earth...it was on ground where he kicked @$$ and saved your lil' Kabuto, which happened lots lots lots of times later. Bottom line: none of the Mazin mechas Z, Great & Kaiser match the ultimate universal super robot UFO Robo Grendizer power. Yes, he is super using Spazer in space, but super also in the robot mode as Dizer on ground. "Dizer, Go!"

Great Mazinger became the weakest in hp in the Mazinger trio, stats don't lie. This is a timeline of events when in the shows how they perform. episodes----------horsepower----(translated)マジンガーZ- 1~32話---------- 50万馬力------- (500,000hp) - 32~71話-------- 65万馬力------- (650,000hp) - 71~92話-------- 95万馬力------- (950,000hp) - G.M.L.E --------- 200万馬力------ (2,000,000hp) グレートマジンガー- 1~34話---------- 90万馬力------- (900,000hp) - 35話以降--------- 130万馬力------ (1,300,000hp) グレンダイザー- 1~55話頃-------- 180万馬力------ (1,800,000hp) - 55話頃以降------- 200万馬力------ (2,000,000hp) Great Mazinger is weaker than Mazinger Z and Grendizer in terms of hp. Um Where does this timeline come from? I know that... Mazinger Z HP = 65000 Great Mazinger = 90000 Grendizer = 2000000 I know that they have an irregularly, unused full power, but doesn't each number above tells which mecha's full power is also greater than the other? I am starting to find it weird, cuz it was Great Mazinger who saved Koji in the last episode of Mazinger Z and was able to destroy the enemies who damaged Z so easy. It was Great Mazinger who was able to stand against the Mazin Kaiser! So in the マジンガーZ大全集 (The complete works of Mazinger Z, a really expensive and rare book) plus the mazinger bible (which according to him is some what useful) according to the guy who compiled almost the entire Mazinger trio data specs. I know what you mean its really strange That Great Mazinger been the one who saves koji in the final episode of Mazinger Z is that weak, however lets not forget by the time Great Mazinger was using the new Super Alloy NZ which Mazinger Z didnt have nor was fully repair after the final battle against Dr. Hell plus koji was hurt after that fight as well giving it the disadvantage Duke Gorgon use to defeat him.

Also, somehow, when Mazinkaiser was gettin ready to blast Great Mazinger with his kaiser Fireblaster- Great Mazinger grabbed kaiser's chestplate... ...both robots had Photon power... the meeting of those two energies awakened Mazinkaiser out of his psycho mode... Kaiser drew photon power from Great Mazinger in order to awaken from his psycho mode. If it hadn't been for Great Mazinger's Photon power, he would've gotten trashed like a hated stepchild in church. ;D zozo-Magengar Remeber that Mazinger Z was already severely damaged in the final fight against Dr. Hell and Count Decapito, in which it destroyed the island and the Flying Fortress Goul. Let's not get into who's stronger again. I don't want to bring up the wooping Mazinger Z puts on Grendizer in the official click manga, or how easy it was for Mazinger Z to destroy the Vegan mosnters with just one hit in the click manga part 2.
As far a Grendizer being good on the ground, yes it was good... good at landing on its metal posterior most of the time, and rolling around as it was being kicked and slammed by the weak ass Vegan monsters. And fast on the ground you mentioned? Have you actually seen the show? You wouldn't be writing those things if you had. Grendizer was absolutely painful to watch running! That's why Nagai decided to have it fight at its best when inside the Spacer.
But Mazinkaiser was painful to watch running as well... but at least it is the indistructible infinitely powerful Super Robot of them all.

You say manga? Manga = bullsh*t fun! Even in that CB whateva movie, Go Nagai lined it CLEAR... "mangas are for fun!" Please don't try to convince me by using the term "official". Stick to the real world, my friend: anime and official books. Otherwise I'll bring you tons of "official" mangas where Grendizer makes the Double Mazinger Mazin sandwiches. As far a Grendizer being good on the ground, yes it was good... good at landing on its metal posterior most of the time, and rolling around as it was being kicked and slammed by the weak ass Vegan monsters. None of all what you have mentioned is correct Are you questioning me if I saw the show? LOL! Please, I need no more laughs. As for the speed, OK, perhaps, we should take a look at this OFFICIAL page (while we shouldn't as our eyes can actually see how slow the Mazins are in the shows comparing 'em to Grendizer) I think someone's Breasto is on Fire! Thanks for the laugh by the way! "Grendizer, Goo!"

wait.. time out, how did we end up again comparing Kaiser with Dizer if we are talking about how underpower is Great Mazinger to Mazinger Z? we already know we cant compare both kaiser and dizer ( i mean there from different universe/ story/ timeline/ rules/etc).
anyway, i never liked that arrogance that tetsuya had, i considere it to be its Achilles heel for Great Mazinger, but in the ova was better at least.
btw that little short mini comic although funny its inaccurate.

No, it's not Dizer vs Kaiser now! It's a desperate try to underestimate Grendizer's power and specifications in general Seriously, I can't stop laughing! First, you tried to make Dizer's HP = to Z (I skipped it) but then, someone says Grendizer sucks on ground! LOL! Actually, Grendizer fought most of time on ground 'n kicked the Vegans' @$$! Thanx for the timeline info by the way! It's not a comic. It's the official release with Grendizer DVD and it is accurate 100%.

Ok, let's take a deep breath and relax for a second, ok everyone.
We're doing good otherwise. But let's see what else we can learn about our favorite robots in this Canon thing besides "Who's-Powerful-Than-Who"... Personally, I never cared about that when I was a kid watching these shows, and I don't care about it now as an adolescent... to me, Grendy and the Mazzies are truly amazing robots for the cool memories and imaginations they've had on me in my lifetime. Each of them had something to offer me and entertain me with, and they gave me lotsa goodies to gossip and joke about; Hands Down. ;D

I didn't notice OK, here is the shock: it was translated from the official Japanese booklet with the UFO Robo Grendizer DVD release (Book #1). Now, I want you PLEASE to tell me which number is inaccurate, Mr. Mazin Expert ;D

OK, anyway, I need to re-read your previous posts regarding this Great Mazinger thingy, which I still find weird Cheers!

we already know we cant compare both kaiser and dizer ( i mean there from different universe/ story/ timeline/ rules/etc). You could be right...but personally, I disagree on this! Both Grendizer (but a Grendizer that we haven't seen yet and with different events than the original Mazinger trilogy) & Mazinkaiser exist in the same universe. Not because there was a cameo photo for Grendizer in Mazinkaiser's movie (although it might count) but because of the same mechas and the same characters who were in Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger and UFO Robo Grendizer series; then, Mazinkaiser. It's just that Grendizer in Mazinkaiser's world has not appear yet! We do not know even if Koji knows about Duke Fleed or not, but my guess (because of this cameo photo) that Grendizer appeared in a time between the OVAs and the movie. That's why I think it'd be logical if in a continuation to Mazinkaiser OVAs, Grendizer should appear with its new events! If I were a manga dude, I would also remind you that in one of the Mazinkaiser origins, there was the 3 Dizer Spazers. But nah, I will not take that cuz like I said mangas are too crazy!

Its a fact. ;D Althou, I must admit that Grendizer can fight on earth, because it did during most of its series. However, fighting on the ground it didn't do very well... other than on it's backside... ;D }D

Yes, as accurate as an italian translation of a japanese manga can be... what is the name they use for Grendizer in Italy??? Goldrake rings a bell perhaps? That translation is par to the U.S. Tranzor Z fiasco. There will never ever be anything better than the original, unaltered, pure japanese language in these classic anime series. }D
