Is that the most kick@$$ super robot or what? Just see how he uses the double harken (thanks to Duke Fleed) as Bruce Lee uses nunchucks wattaaah!

If I were to resume my career as an animator, I'd have drawn better than these - trust me - but, I quit the job since years cuz if you have a talent and you are livin' in Egypt, the talent dies! Why haven't I escape to Japan or USA, 10 years ago? <sigh!>

Well then, you can still do your animation thing and be an Egyptian version of "Go Nagai"... animate a mecha that resembles the sun god Ra with an Egyptian prince piloting it; and it's female robot companion Isis. zozo-Magengar I kinda figured you didn't draw them; they do look nice though. My very old drawings (can't post the recent for copyright issues) www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=80874&id=582565905&l=d38e53901dNote: for some f*ck*n stupid and unconvincing reason, it's like: do not show too much superheroes or super robots to the Arab kids! See, below is a comparison between a 2010 Japanese anime and Egyptian cartoon <SUCKS!> Egyptian artists do have the talent, but they are FORCED to draw bullsh*t!

Hmmmmm... I can see a big difference between anime art and the cartoon art in that egyptian cartoon. It's still Art. But I do agree with you, you artists over there should be allowed more artistic freedom... it's the only way to express and display your individual skills to the max; and people recignize an artist by his drawing style.

After taking a good look into Bandai's Mechanic Collection I had to quote this... Mazinger Z Heavy Version (metallic colors)...that sounds cool! A picture for that one please? I have it... it is not "Extra Heavy" like the box states. It is not my favorite MC Mazinger either. The metallic colors just don't do it for me... The Mecha Collection Mazinger Z used to be my favorite Mazinger Z figure of them all, including the SOCs and Daigokin. Now, things have changed... After the custom paint job, this is my favorite Mazinger Z figure now! ;D }D ...And post those photos... Don't you find them more Mazingers than the Super Robot Chogokins while underrated? I know they are less poseable and have less accessories but talkin' about the looks... what do you think?

But for you, magengar, they are a MUST (the SRCs are a MUST for you too) ;D Personally, if they make a MC Grendizer, I will buy the 3 of 'em! I just hope the Mazingers won't be out of stock by then They look very beautiful and I am in love with these panel lines! They look so related to this image...

I love the MC Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger. Like I said before, they were my favorite Mazin figures until the SRCs came along. I don't like the accented/weathered panel lines thou, so I left mine untouched.
You are also missing the MC Raideen and the MC Shin Mazinger God Scrander version (which I don't quite like much)...

I haven't started on my Raideen kit yet. I hope to do it soon. Works starting to get BUSY for me this holiday season, so I appreciate THAT very much.
If I could rank my favorites among my collection I'd say I love my SOC and my MechaColle Mazingers more than all my other Maz toys. These two toy lines define my love for this hobby. I'm sure I will feel it even more once I score the SRC Mazingers.
As for "scale accuracy comparison"to that Grendizer SOC there: In my opinion, the MechaColle Mazingers do not give that scale canon any justice what-so-ever............... ...........why did I state this?.......................... ...look at the MechaColle Mazingers--- those two robot model kits are the same size relative to one another. They're the same size, because the same mold was used to manufacture their body parts (except the head)... and that was to save production costs $$$ in the long run. Simple, eh.
You want a good scale representation? SRC Mazinger-Z; SOC Great Mazinger; then the large Marmit Gokin Grendizer.
I didn't include Mazinkaiser in this case scenario, because we've Never seen Mazinkaiser AND Grendizer together in any of Go Nagai's animes. So, that would be irrelevant in this scale canon, for the time being, until we see an SOC Mazinkaiser or a larger die-cast Mazinkaiser that will fit somewhere in that scale canon.

I'm glad you, guys, appreciate the Mechanic Collection line! I feel it's underrated while it is one of the most beautiful Nagai figures Tonight, I will be ordering my SRC Great Mazinger & Mazinger Z but I think I will purchase the Mechacolles someday (hopefully they add Grendizer to the line), if the budget helps!

You know, i believe i saw once a Grendizer model kit, however his lower legs lower and upper body and the arms where blue, the double harkens where red and the head as well. i think i saw it in google once.
i got a question, although mine are busted but im thinking of getting another set of the MC model kit., what kind of paint the model kits use. im not expert on painting model kits but i always wanted to give it that nice finish like in the pictures.

I think you're refering to the vintage Goldrake model kit manufactured by Atlantic (Italy, year inknown)... As for how to paint plastic models, I'm a beginner as well; but so far I've had killer results with my MechaColle Mazinger-Z kit... robotjapan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fancustom&action=display&thread=17076But don't take just my word for it; check out the Customs threads to see how other RJers painted their kits. Also check out the Gundam threads if you wanna develop mad skillz in detail-painting and weathering techniques. zozo-Magengar You know, i believe i saw once a Grendizer model kit, however his lower legs lower and upper body and the arms where blue, the double harkens where red and the head as well. i think i saw it in google once. i got a question, although mine are busted but im thinking of getting another set of the MC model kit., what kind of paint the model kits use. im not expert on painting model kits but i always wanted to give it that nice finish like in the pictures.

@ Dammage7: Thanks for posting scanned images of the MechaColle boxes... I luv that artwork; but I never find the time to scan my own MechaColle box arts...... if I could find a place where I can get them heat-transfered onto black tshirts I'd be wearing these right now! ------------ Now that I think about it and think about it and think about thinking about the thought of thinking about it, I might decide on getting that Getter MC as well...... ...I'm not a Getter fan as much as I am of the Mazingers, but I could use the Getter's parts to reproduce new parts for making ENEMY robot kits for MC Mazinger-Z. I would definitely like to customize a Getter kit into "Garada-K7" and "Doublas-M2" zozo-Magengar

Panel lines to give the robotic look, diecast for the robotic touch, and at the same time look like the anime design! They are close to the Italian GT team Grendizer design. After I get my SRC Mazins soon, once they make a Dizer mechacoll, I will buy the MC trio! As for Getter 1, I might think about it too if they will make Getter 2 & 3. The line really looks nice and worth the purchasing!
