You want a good scale representation? SRC Mazinger-Z; SOC Great Mazinger; then the large Marmit Gokin Grendizer. I didn't include Mazinkaiser in this case scenario, because we've Never seen Mazinkaiser AND Grendizer together in any of Go Nagai's animes. So, that would be irrelevant in this scale canon, for the time being, until we see an SOC Mazinkaiser or a larger die-cast Mazinkaiser that will fit somewhere in that scale canon. zozo-Magengar magengar, I think the scale of the action figures you mentioned is not going to be the actual scales used in the movies and series, and that what is the right thing, right? Like you mentioned with the mazinkaiser comparison above.

Yeah.
I was just trying hard to visualize these robots by placing their toys into size-places (from shortest to tallest). We can't possibly pinpoint exactly which robot is taller than which; and in Grendizer's case, if he's taller than all the Mazingers.

Guys, I am looking for the original Great Mazinger opening theme (instrumental) and not the 2001 version! If you know a link for an MP3 file or a clip on YouTube, please let me know... Thanx!Mazinger ZGreat Mazinger (missing)UFO Robo Grendizer=== The 2001 versions... === For the original opening musics, I prefer (in order): Mazinger Z, UFO Robo Grendizer, Great Mazinger. For the original series themes/soundtracks (in order): UFO Robo Grendizer, Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger. For the 2001 'instrumental' themes (in order): Great Mazinger, UFO Robo Grendizer, Mazinger Z. What about you?

For the original series Opening theme songs, my faves are: Mazinger-Z, Great Maz, and Mazinkaiser. I've learned only the first verse and chorus of the Mazinger-Z opening theme song, and I sing it all the time where ever I go.
I've heard the "Mazinger Legends" soundtrack album... it's got some beautiful J-pop Mazinger-themed songs and ballads inspired by those three classic series. If I find the "Mazinger Legends" CD album online I'll post it here.

Since when Great Mazinger and Mazinger Z have boosters to jump with? - For Mazinger Z when he got the upgrade to fight underwater, after he got the upgrade, Koji use it to jump higher (pretty much to combine with the Jet Scrander most of the time in midair). When I get my SRC Mazinger Z, I am going to paint the Jet Scrander belt in white (like in the anime)...I was playing a clip to make sure that Z's upper arms/legs and waist are off-white and the jet scrander has a white belt, and I noticed also the leg boosters: I knew about the boosters for the underwater battles, but never noticed before he uses them to jump high with too! Yeah, Maz uses boosters to get "Hang Time" when the Scrander docks him. The boosters came at a time when he needed something to move him quickly underwater (the battle against Glossam-X2)... the boosters were his first jet propulsion devices. His Scrander came later after being inspired by Aphrodai's TT's. ;D By the way, we just missed Mazinger-Z's 38th anniversary December 3rd! Happy B'day, Maaaaaaz!!! zzo-Magengar

To my Mazinmaniac Z buddies ;D (they know who they are)... I always thought that this punch is known as the Kyoukagata Rocket Punch but a friend of mine, who's addicted to Mazinger, told me that it's not its correct name! He told me that this punch appeared only one time in episode #54. So, isn't really there's an official name for it? Note: It is kinda of twisted lil' act from Bandai to include this punch with SRC Mazinger Z, instead of his iron cutters, so they grant we buy the 2nd weapons set when the iron cutter comes with it

yeah he used it in 1 episode, i need to re-watch Mazinger-Z where his Normal Rocket Punch couldn't break through the enemy .. so he replaced one of his arms with that Bigger Punch and it broke through the enemy... if my memory is correct though

Actually Kyoukagata Rocket Punch is the correct name, the problem is that in the series they call it rocket punch but officially its called the Kyoukagata Rocket Punch (which means Reinforced Rocket Punch). Even the name is use in the super robot wars game when your about to use his attack.
As for the SRC giving first the Kyoukagata Rocket Punch than the iron cutters, in a way is like giving a homage to the classic series since Mazinger Z gets the Iron Cutters later on after the use of the Kyoukagata Rocket Punch.

I can't remember exactly Which episode the Kyou-WTF Punch was introduced, I think it was against the mechabeast Spartan? I can't remember! But that K-Punch was used only that one time.
I do know that Mazinger also used "chained" Rocket-punches in the battle against Debira-X1 (can't remember That episode #) so, be on the lookout if Bandai includes the "Chained" rocket-punch as well. If not, grab a small jewelery chain and make yer own custom chained rocket-punch. ;D
PS: can anyone here please post the link showing the new (second) Accessory Pack for the SRC Mazingers? I need to see pics of this new pack so I can see if there's any difference between this new second Acc pack and the first one. Much Thanks ahead!
