The Kyoukagata Rocket Punch was introduce in episode 54 to fight a 3 headed flying turtle while the Iron cutters was introduce on episode 59 to fight a giant mechanical beast in a Greek custom which he looks like Bluto from Popeye lol. The Chain Rocket Punch was introduce on episode 19, way before getting the Jet Scrander or even using Aphrodite A's missiles to fly. you could say its the beginning to counter flying mechanical monsters that Mazinger Z had problems with. Interesting enough the real name of this attack is the Boomerang Fist, in all honesty the name confuse me as heck. as for the second weapon pack, here is the pics   for the looks of it is gonna bring: Mazinger Z's Accessories - Jet pilder - Iron Cutters - Drill missiles effects Great Mazinger's Accessories - Great Booster - Backspin kick blade - Knee Impulse kick |

Every weapon in robot anime Haaas to have a name. How else are us kids gonna Shout them along with the pilot? ;D Now... the Opening theme in this episode is different from the earlier episodes. I like this theme better, because here we see Maz at his best besides frying a couple mechabeats in Tokyo... I'll have to search for this second Opening theme on Youtube. " Masha..... come up!" Actually Kyoukagata Rocket Punch is the correct name, the problem is that in the series they call it rocket punch but officially its called the Kyoukagata Rocket Punch (which means Reinforced Rocket Punch). Even the name is use in the super robot wars game when your about to use his attack. As for the SRC giving first the Kyoukagata Rocket Punch than the iron cutters, in a way is like giving a homage to the classic series since Mazinger Z gets the Iron Cutters later on after the use of the Kyoukagata Rocket Punch. Mazinger never had any swords of its own... it was borrowed. }D Yes, in the movie Mazinger Z vs The Great General of Darkness.I think it's the only time Z used the Mazinger Sword?  |
