well if shin Grendizer is gonna be a follow up to the Shin Mazinger Z story, then there is no doubt in my mind that possible Grendizer design was base from Hades or could be Neptune(Zeus brother?!??) If I am not mistaken, in some mangas, they refer to Grendizer as the God of War of Planet Fleed! So, yeah...maybe there will be some God thingy connection. I really don't like that much this Zues mythology stuff, huh, but let's just wait 'n see, hopefully they make a good storyline regarding the figures similarity! |

i agree, but since they altered somewhat the story of Mazinger Z, it will not surprise me about Shi Great Mazinger and Shin Grendizer doing so as well, although im curious about the third god in the story Poseidon ( i just said Neptune by Mistake XD).

I've never gotten into those Dynamic Click mangas. However I do like the artwork, it makes the robots look very crispy right down to the line art and color... ...perfect for capturing images to make vinyl stickers of these super-robot characters.  zz-mag |

They were sharing another two psx cds in the MMM forum which I had seen before but never could find. I don't think the story is complete, but is a much better story than the Super Robots plus Devilman plus Cutie Honey one. The cds I'm refering to include the Getters and Ankoku Dai Shogun...

That weird version with the Devilman and Cutie Honey girls
was quite a turn-off for me. I'd rather read a manga about just ONE
character than get bombarded by cross-world characters from
other mangas and animes... personally, I find it distracting for me.
That's just me.

my only concern is that how much of a change Grendizer will receive, will it go like the same concept of Shin Mazinger Z or be a stand alone series like New Getter Robo. well Grendizer does not need a Shin Space thunder since he has one that they could use from the manga, the famous Dizer Tera Max. ...But damn ;D I cannot stop thinking about that shin space thunder!You know, Great Mazinger releases this lightning energy into the atmosphere by calling the lightning down from the skies onto the antennae on its head...but in the Shin UFO Robo Grendizer, if they focus on the fact that Grendizer will get the energy from space (not earth atmosphere) that's how horrible and wonderful I imagine its power to be presented! Actually, Space Thunder is not an electric shock...it's a type of white fire, which is more dangerous than regular red fire! Dammit, it must be some energy related to the cosmic solar energy or something... I want Shin Robo Grendizer NOW!  |
