Have these been translated into English yet? They already started the Great Mazinger one! So far, only the first volume of Shin Mazinger ZERO has been scanlated.

Note regarding different SR eras appearances: I find Great Mazinger always a cameo as a supporter actor outside his own show, while Grendizer as a lead actor inside or outside his own show - right?
Classics: [Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, UFO Robo Grendizer, Getter Robo/G and Kotetsu Jeeg] Moderns: [Great Mazinger, UFO Robo Grendizer, Shin Getter Robo, Mazinkaiser and Kotetsushin Jeeg].

That's a good question. Of all the super-robot characters Go Nagai has created, I would also think those five robot characters are his "biggest assets" (his biggest Money-makers, and his most popular). From a global perspective: Go Nagai has created many characters, in manga and anime formats, in different categories. Of all the categories Nagai has addressed, the super-robot category appears to be what he is best known for. zozo-mag I love Great Mazinger. Some people involve Devilman (which is a wellknown Nagai character) but WTH he's not a Super Robot!

Well, if I'm not mistaken, Devilman came first right before Mazinger-Z.
Devilman isn't even a robot, but he was a giant humanoid demon who battled demon monsters from an underworld relm.
Devilman originated from a previous manga series titled "Demon Lord Dante", and a month later Toei Animation took Devilman to become a TV anime series with the first broadcast airing in June 1972 and spanning 39 episodes.
The only time Devilman was ever associated with any of the super-robots was in the first Mazinger-Z OAV movie "Mazinger-Z tai Devilman" (1973, Toei)*** in which he teams up with Mazinger-Z against Dr.Hell who enlisted the help of the Demon relm in combined attacks with his kikaiju against Mazinger-Z while the Demon relm enemies were after Devilman. Devilman was nearly destroyed by the Demon relm, but in the end Mazinger-Z saved his ass. lol
Note: ***This OAV movie is also an alternate plot in which Mazinger-Z gains the ability to fly. He was attacked by a flying kikaiju. Scenes later, during Koji's first encounter with Devilman in human form (Akira Fudo), Akira suggested to Koji that Mazinger-Z should be made capable of flight otherwise he would continue being attacked by air from flying enemies. It was then that the Jet Scrander was made so that Maz could fly.
