Nope. I hope they release it soon. They are a newer company and I do not think they have totally established their production cycle yet.

I think the sculpt looks great. I would have to handle it to really decide what I think of it, but it looks nice.

Uh, wow! Just had a chance to mess around with this figure tonight. I was like, "damn, Riobot! Stop putting so much articulation into this figure." I literally didn't know where to start or stop with this figure. Soooo much posability. Maybe it's to early, but I don't care. THIS...is my nom, for TOTY! Pics stream can be found linked in my sig. @ the "dx" site.

He is amazing though. I was so glad to get it.

Really nice pictures goldorak. So what do you think, how do you guys like or dislike on this GL? A lot to like indeed. I opened mine very quickly this morning. Box is quite big for this figure, but packed with goodies (hands, drills, wing, stand...etc.) When lifting the figure out, you'll notice the lightness is very significant, contrary to (heavy is good). Its so light, even though it is bigger than the Revoltech, it feels lighter in comparison. So it is really a feather weight. The figure feels very intricate, tons of moving parts that you at first don't know which can or cannot move. As you pose it, you kind of need to be careful you don't bend joints the wrong way. But all joints (after you break it in from being stuck from assembly sometimes) moves nice and snug with a crisp rubbing from ABS against ABS. On my figure, every joint is very even without arms or legs having one side looser than the other. Paint application is almost perfect, very sharp very crisp (with very minor flaw on mine with a tiny white pimple on Gurren's white teeth, and the red mouth in the alternate head is not as perfectly painted). But everything else is premium quaility. I haven't mess with the wings too much though, so not sure if it will be heavy enough to dismount the back plate from time to time (saw it mentioned on youtube review). But for the stand alone GL, it is superb! It has the articulation range of the Revoltech (in some case, better), without the obvious ball joints or funky cuts, but replaced with very geniusly thought out engineering. You just can't be too rough on it when posing, but you'll get very extreme poses without snapping things apart. Like even twisting the waist has to be done with delicacy, but as you do it, you find out more and more little sections of the waist move one after another, and you would go "Woooow...that's neat". The only drawback is the high price for something non-diecast. But it excels in engineering and execution, making it feels like a very high end figure. If you only look at the toy design, I haven't been this intrigued for a long time, since like the dawn of the Revoltech line, or a few of the best SOCs that did some magical engineering. It definitely feels a refreshing new take that hasn't been done before. It is pricey and very light, but it is worth your money IMHO. I would rank this over the SRC GL, mainly due to the engineering and extra flare in the sculpt, if you don't mind not having diecast. Size-wise, it matches SRC pretty perfectly too.

I kinda felt the same way that mpchi feels when I first got this figure. The light weight and the high price may be a turn off for some collectors, but after owning it for about a month, it clear to me that these are non factors. Think about how many people purchased this when they first has preorders for this. It was such a high demand figure that they had to do a second production run. Yeah, it made of lightweight plastic, but at least it isn't made of cheap flexible plastic that has tendency to warp or bend overtime. The joints move smoothly without being too tight or anything but like mpchi said, you do have to be a little careful because of the bending axis of the joints. It has great articulation with lots of movable part but it isn't something that is easily posable like a figma or a SH figuarts toy. My bottom line is this is something I enjoy seeing in my display cube, and at the end of the day, that is all that matters. The other GL figures just doesn't have the coolness factor that this figure exemplify.

Awesome backdrops! Where did you get those!? Also, I did not realize you could use a Tamashii Stage with this. He is amazing though. I was so glad to get it. Thanks! The backgrounds are just from around the net. I just googled exslposions and picked out the coolest ones. Yeah, I've seen on gamu-toys and other blogs that Tamashii Stages have been used, so I decided to give it a go. Works perfectly! I pretty much have to echo the sentiments of others and say that this toys is nothing short of an engineering marvel. Really doesn't matter if there's diecast in this or not to be perfectly honest. Playing with this figure, one can see where the financial resources are going. Plus, I'm a fan of this style. This version of GL has so much swagger it's nuts! It does a good job of going it's own way while still remaining faithful to the original design cues. So, diecast or not, it's at the top of a short list. This is one of those figures that once I pick it up I just don't want to put down. That's what toys are for anyways. It's a must own, IMHO.

I agree with everything said. This thing is an engineering work of art. Light? Yes. Cheap? No! This thing is probably one of the most amazing figures I have ever held.
Oh and the lightness insures it stays on the stand, in a dynamic pose, very easily

Got mine today. I did not take it out of the box yet, but I do love that shinny sticker that reads "Made in Factory." ;D
I looked at the world map, and I do not see any place called "Factory." ;D

I don't think they were aiming to print made in (print country name). So we know this is made in a factory.

So how much of the attraction of this figure is based on the re-imagined looks and how much is based on the engineering? Would it still rank as high if it wasn't so stylized and looked more like the anime? Which matters more the looks or the design if you only had to choose one.
I personally like the new re-imagined looks, it looks more "Samurai-ish" with the layered plate leather look than what I think the original designers even intended. Very nice.
