What I've been doing lately with the Revoltech joints is taking them apart and grinding off the detents inside so they rotate a lot more smoothly. It sure improves the posing ability of the figures. }D

themaz you dont make them loose that way?? you could by koto option joints which are the same size but without the rivits maybe be easier then grinding them down and what not.
I got my Rio GL and its awesome!! joints nice and smooth and no floppiness (though the torso does tend to roll back slightly probably due to weight). This is just as good as delphine but hes bigger and a lot more color and even more engineering involved. awesome figure and i wish they did all the figures for Rio because the eva is just so ho humm in comparison, their riobones arent so great either though the Kanti is pretty good........... for kanti that is

I have to wonder how will the upcoming SRC Gurren Lagann will compare to this one. It will probably be more anime accurate than Riobot's version, and come with a metallic crimson paint job. Hopefully it will come with the wings. some drills, and effects parts as well, but I'm almost sure that Bandai will put those in a separate weapons pack for it. }D

I am sure most would say the Konami Gokin one but the price on that thing is so expensive!

the best gurren lagann to own? Hey, Abazou. I have heard that the Riobot GL rivals the Konami version in terms of engineering and overal gimmicks and functionality/articulation. If you're looking for die-cast then the Konami GL is the one you want. Overall it sounds like you give up one feature for another in a tie/toss-up. Myself...; I could never score the Konami version and I've actually never owned a GL or Riobot figure, so this is my first foray into either.

In terms of the looks and sculpt, this is just my option but the riobot version just blows away the old konami great impact model version. But this is a all plastic figure and is much smaller so Gokin collectors are going to like the Konami GIM version more. But for me, looks are way more important, and I prefer this updated rendition.

I am looking forward to getting my Riobot GL figure. I really want the Konami GL Gokin, however, I have not been able to score it. I will continue to dream. The scuplt on the smaller Konami GL (The Impact Model Series) is pretty amazing!
I am looking forward to the upcoming SRC GL, though, I was really hoping that GX-62 would be GL

Well, I think the Riobot one is so unique..that I just have to have it. Looks sick. I dream of owning the Gokin one but alas, not sure it is worth $500. I really wish Bandai would do an SOC instead of an SRC. Though, the SRC one means hopefully Lazengann!
