Speaking of the Delphine 1st Version, I just got one in the mail today. I was going to put it up for sale, but seeing as it looks like Sentinel's finally getting the lead out I may just hang on to it for a while. Box got beat to hell though...

From TGS 2011, the three selections from ZOE2 that Sen-ti-nel will be adding to the Riobot line are shown - still only sketches at this point, but it's good to have official (and it doesn't get more official than in a slideshow from Kojima and Konami) confirmation that these are coming

The Monster Hunter took me by suprise as well! I really thought Sentinel is making Mecha/Robot Based toys only..
I hope its not an exclusive..

The Monster Hunter took me by suprise as well! I really thought Sentinel is making Mecha/Robot Based toys only.. I hope its not an exclusive.. It is. It's only available for sale through the Capcom store as a co-promotion with the upcoming Monster Hunter Tri3DS. You'll have to order it through a middleman like yokatta (the store linked previously) if you don't live in Japan.

It does ... but apparently a LOT of people have been getting them and they're breaking out of the box, which REALLY bums me out. Everything Sen-ti-nel have produced so far has been an out-of-park homerun so to hear that this is causing problems is sad (especially since I've got one on its way to me right now)

All of the joints - wrists most commonly, but also the waist and shoulders.

Got mine on sat must say excellent figure got most of the modern joints found in shfa line except in the ankles which are pretty much just ball joints. He doesn't have the tilt hip joints eithe so no high kick action. I was expecting more innovative joint designs however after their excellent Delphine and photos of gurren with all the armor but not really. The armor gets in te way of a Lot of things. Most of it like the skirt armor is made of flexible PVC but is all attached to a single piece under the torso so you can't move it up fully. I was hoping they would of taken a fundal approach by hinging the armor dome how to get full mobility but nope.
Also the rear skirt armor is a solid piece of PVC and seamy bend at all making kneeling poses cumbersome since it sticks way out. They should of made that out of soft plastic too. Shoulder pads are on ball joints attached to back of figure but they still get in the way due to thire bulckiness but you get a good range of Motion though. The neck bowser is a pain to move horizontally due to the teath in the chest plate but it seems that it would be a tad on the difficult side regardless. Another negative is the ugly peg used for the giant sword. He has one that sticks out the back and then there is one on the sword. For he price and level of detail the figure exudes ud think they would conceal it better or have a way of removing the peg but nope he's stuck with it!!
However, despite my initial statement there are two interesting joint choices in the waist and upper torso. I can't really see what joint is there but it's no ball and socket and connects from the back. The waist has really nice range of movement and doesnt catch on anything so very fluid. Now most figures have a mid torso joint but sentinel ignores this and gave the mh curved spine so he is already in croutch thrust position but they didn't get lazy no no no they added a swivel joint to the upper chest concealed under the collar bone armor or whatever it is and it swivels up and down for that extra curve . It looks pretty cool and helps to highlight another nifty feature which is joint concealment .
Now the figure is pretty solid most joints feel tight but moclve fluidly except mine had a slightly floppy right knee joint and then the worse was to come. At first I was disappointed to find that there was no rotation in the thighs. After fiddling wib it I found there was as I got the left leg to do so but the right was a differe t story. To make a long story short I broke the leg off tryig to rotate the stupid sunammabiitch..... But guess what I got the f**ing thigh to rotate!! Now I'm pissed as hell but it's more my fault then the figures though i wouldn't have been a le to get it to rotate with out putti g signigi ant pressure on it as it was overly tight.
In he end it is an awesome figure it has the level of size and detail fond in a sic fig with the mobility and quality found in most shf figs just pretty expensive and limited prices sky rocketed on eBay after it's release. Now who know how to fix broken hiP joint?!

I'm sorry to hear about your problems, MMJ. I got mine the other day and was definitely handling it with kid gloves when I first pulled it out of the package - at least at first. Then I came to realize that the figure wasn't nearly as fragile or as faulty as the preview images seemed to imply. I can see a lot of people breaking it because the joints don't move in a way they would expect considering the design of the figure - it's got a lot of joints that are close in style to figma or revoltech joints as opposed to the more common ball joints that one would have in an SH figuarts figure, and if you try to force a joint or torque it in a way that's not in line with its axis of movement, I could totally see the figure breaking.
Mine is solid and smooth, mercifully, and it looks and stands great. The hands don't seem to me all that soft for actually putting the weapons in, and it came with a slip of paper that implied pretty heavily that I'd need to put them in hot water to get them to move, so we'll see how that goes. For now, I'm more than happy with the purchase and would love to see Sentinel put out more armor sets (as unlikely though that may be).
