Probably >.< This one isn't being done by Chemical Attack and I don't really know the design so it's a bit of an unknown. It DOES look pretty neat, kind of a mix of some L-gaim and some Gundam. I don't know that it'll have the same level of engineering and detail in the mechanics that the Chemical Attack figures do. I'll have to see. I may PO it from a place that offers easier cancellations than Amiami. |

This guy isn't made by chemical attack? The little bio on toyworld says it was sculpted by "(Northeast Branch chemical attack) Eiji Suzuki". I guess chemical attack has multiple branches across Japan.

I guess chemical attack has multiple branches across Japan. Huh. I just saw the name when I was checking the amiami listing, I didn't notice that toyworld was still listing it as CA. More uncertainties.  I've been checking out the manga the figure is based off of, and near as I can tell it's kind of terrible, hah. An interesting premise but the art is kind of messy and the pacing is awful. |

looks cool to me, if not chemical attack then i dont have much hopes for the fig itself but i love the design so it probably going to get

I started reading a little bit of the Knights of Sodonia manga and I think the best word for it is rough. I think I'll skip this riobot release.

For what it's worth, it does seem to get better as it goes along. The first two volumes I went through just seemed like a jumbled mess of garbage. As it progresses it gets a great deal more interesting. |

Hah! An interesting insight for why this mech looks like it's been made from a mishmash of other designs - the artist put in a little "behind the scenes" mini comic in one of the later issues of the series which outlined his design process, which was essentially buying a ton of model kits and chopping them up and gluing them back together again to make his design. I know one of the first things that went through my mind when I saw this was "Gaplant" and I'd bet that more than a few parts for the Tsugimori came from a gaplant or two, hah.  |

Riobot Blodia. Cyberbots! No way! That is awesome. Probably won't see a release for this till next year...late, but still exciting enough to hold my attention. Yeah, quinjester that's pretty interesting to see how that design was approached. Makes a lot more sense from that perspective. I also didn't know this manga was done by Tsumotu Nihei (Blame, Snikt). I will have to check this out! |

No! No no NOOO!!! Blodia!? For real!?! This is so pre-ordered on day one. And now that they have contacts at Capcom, how about a Riobot Kikaioh (G.Kaiser, from Tech Romancer)?
Canti from FLCL, a kickass Gurren Lagann redesign and now Blodia. Their Maschinen Krieger Fireball mech figure was sweet too.

I just saw this on the cybergundam blog:  I can't see Sentinel's name anywhere on it, but considering that they did the capcom exclusive figure release for Monster Hunter 3G it would stand to reason that they're doing the one for Monster Hunter 4, as well (and it does look similar in design and physique to their Lagiacrus armor). Hopefully that is the case, because a Rathalos armor figure (that ISN'T a revoltech) is right up my alley   blog.yahoo.com/cybergundam/articles/688218/index |

Burned ... it turns out it sold out before my middleman could get me one  . Now my only alternative is to buy the complete set that includes the game, which won't work on my US 3DS. Ugh ugh ugh. |
