I recently my Eva-01 from Riobot.
Sculpt and paint wise is so pro, especially the quality of the translucent pieces. But overall does feel a bit light. But articulation wise a bit restricted compared to the RD. And also soft, not loose, but soft.
Changing the hands the first time a few stress marks on the inner wrists.
The base is awesome, though the figure perfectly stands without it.
Overall it is the most accurately sculpted Eva-01. The finishing is probably the best I've seen in a while. But the soft articulation, and the restrictions to prevent dynamic poses like the RD, does make this figure feel like it's a bit too over priced.
Without a doubt, I won't be purchasing anymore figures from this make. It's great a poseble true replication statue, but very light as a poseble figure.
If you're a Eva fan and enjoy carefully displaying your pieces, then it's the best out there. If you just want a well priced figure that is just fun, look else where.

Well I wouldn't go as far as to quit the line ti must say just bout everything they have produced since Delphine has not been on the sameness level. I am looking forward to gurren. It looks to have all the cool articulation found in Delphine. But yeah everything u said about Eva is right on butif you want a really cool go for the movie realization Eva or anima Eva. Not the greatest articulation but awesome display pieces and cheaper than this

I already got the Anima Eva, and love it! Well there isn't much in Riobot's next releases that tempts me in appeal and price factor combined. So at this stage I won't be buying more from them. They're too expensive for the average collector. My Alter Kosmos I paid almost the same for, and yet the quality, the content, the articulation is far superior to this Eva. As is my Anima Eva that I got near release. So, nothing against the company's efforts, I admire their attempt with the materials and especially the sculpting, but the price is a bit too much compared to the competition.

Yeah I agree the main thing they had with delphine was crazy articulation engineering but they seem to be letting that slide while raising the price... Not good. I have high hopes for gurren tho

Yeah. It's going to be rough, waiting on it. Rougher still is resisting the temptation to buy it if I find a reasonably priced 1st release along the way, since Amiami isn't too thrilled about order cancellations, heh.

So what do you guys think, should I take the plunge and pick sentinel's monster hunter figure or should it be avoided at all costs?

Avoided? I wouldn't say so. It's a really cool toy and I like it quite a lot. I don't know that it's necessarily worth whatever it would cost to buy it at this point, but as far as quality goes it's nice.

Yeah it's a good figure in both sculpt and articulation. Nice size too but bewarry of the legs if you try to rotate them and they are stiff dontbothertrying move them any more. Is it worth the 150 plus though? That's entirely up to you. But dollarfordollarno it's not rworth that price but I'd say 50 Or so USA good price

Yeah with Delphine this is true but they haven't reproduced such engineering in anything else they've released thus far but theories have stayed high. I'm hoping that GL will rekindle their former glory or I may no longer support the line lol almost said that with a straight face who am I kidding as long as I get cool different robots I'll stick around lol

Wish they were a bit taller though. The 2nd form is only 5 inches tall, right? C'mon. I've got deluxe transformers that are taller.

well you cant really put transformers in the same category as transformers (except say the alternate (or whatever they are called) and master piece ones. All other TFs are geared toward children, made as such and prcied (for the most part) as such...... oh and you can waltz in just about any TRU, wallmart, or target and pick yourself up a few at any time........ unlike these.. and there are a lot more differences to point out then just that.

I know that the joints are more intricate, and the paint application sharper, but i still think they could have gone taller. Alter's Full Metal Panic line is taller than the 2nd form and they have not sacrificed anything in poseability. The 3rd form i think is similar.

That's a better comparison youdo get more w alter and size. I'm not sure if your talking about thethreeforms of Delphine but they are all the same size.

You can't seriously mean it, that they are overpriced when you can get the first form for almost less than $300.

huh i cant get if there is sarcasim here or misinterpretation. hes saying its overpriced and they are expensive but you gotta understand what it takes to make a toy and if you are a small company it takes a lot more to make it..... to make it this good anyway.
