Hmmmmm...something doesn't look right.
Seems like Toynami forgot to paint the upper portion of his legs black near the joints. He looks like he's wearing black briefs. LOL.

Some nice look to it, but you'd think with the size, and the price, they could have at least cut out the opening in the "hands" of the red, and green lions' mouths. ....oh and shooting fists? what happened?
Looking forward still to Dairugger for sure.
Seems Toynami is definitely not using the name "Voltron" anymore. Guess it's all Mattel now?

The box is the best part of this release! Classic Shogun Warriors.
Its all vinyl, so I would worry about how it stands up over time. I bought the vinyl jumbo Daiku Maryu, and that thing gave in under its own weight. The legs bent in and the whole thing collapsed. Very disappointing. While this isn't as top heavy, I would still expect something this large might give in over time.

Man, that Sucks. But, yeah, I can see a jumbo as portly large as the Daiku Maryu caving in on itself. ...Not making fun of it, but in my mind I see it in slow-motion: groaning, slowly sagging at the belly and legs, drooping towards the ground into a pile of plastic goo... like Mazinger-Z had fired the BreastFire at it, from a hiding place, short beams at a time, every day while you were out. ;D --------------- Back on topic....... this Voltron jumbo looks awesome, definitely a Must-Have on any jumbo collector's shelf with the other jumbos. Those are the hind legs of Black-Lion right up to the hips so that's the correct paint. Voltron always had breifs and you just didn't notice.
What really annoys me is that this was apparently a lazy effort on the part of Toynami: they just blew up the sculpt of the 12" figure. He has the same "filled-in" mouths for hands and no "legs" sculpted into Red-Lion or Green-Lion.
As for the Dairugger version... forget the jumbo! Where is the regular 12" sized one, already?! It was promised for April! Then again, this is Toynami we're talking about so I'm not particularly surprised at hte current state of affairs.

Hmmm... I never noticed any discrepencies between This jumbo and the 12" version... I'll have to look at them both TOGETHER, and see the similarities-- since this jumbo was just announced Now and the 12" version was announced like Sooo Waaay baaack wheeen. Good Eye, and Good Catch, Ben. zozo-Magengar

Post pics when they arrive, and show them standing beside your leg so we can see the size comparison between them new "shogun warriors" and someone who'd just put his head through a drop-ceiling. ;D

Original annoucements from NY toy fair last winter got our hopes up, but now it "seems" as though no shooty gimmicks are on board. No word for sure yet. JoshB at CollectionDX.com will be on it for sure when there's news.

Got mine today! Awesome!!! Even the box rocks!!! They fixed the "hands" and now they have moldel lion mouths instead of just a one-piece deal without holes. I'll take some shots of it this weekend.
