Thanks and thanks to KingboyD for the writeup.
On a side note, got the U5 and scrander jet today. I had thought about doing a full pour resin re-cast of the wing, but not sure about that now. It's a big wing! And decently thick as well.

I am considering something like that, where instead of big one piece wing, to make a 3 piece wing instead. It may take a couple molds to capture, then modify a copy and re-mold again. I don't feel like chopping up the original wing to make changes and then do a single cast. At this point, I am going to put the wing on hold for a couple weeks.
I am starting to modify a right and left GaiKing fist to make universal shooting fists or snap fit arms. So, would have the fist part, then could add on a sleeve (GaiKing, Daimos, ??) like the normal shooting fist did, and/or add-on the launching tab within the sleeve. Then the fist could rotate like Raydeen's shooting fist can.
I am starting to get some Raydeen bowfists done. My ideas for a single pour didn't work out like I had hoped. So, am close to how I was making the first piece a couple months ago. Will update in the next few days on what I have for availability as will be on a short family vacation trip.

Thought I should share some fun and cool new customizable fists and sleeves for the Shogun Warriors that I have been working on. The fists were molded from GaiKing, which seems to be the same fist with Mazinga, Daimos, and maybe some other Shogun that I don't own The fists are made to accept a separate shooting insert when needed for a shooting arm. Or can be used with just the sleeve for a non-shooting fist. For sleeves, I have made a dual purpose GaiKing sleeve so it can be used for the shooting or non-shooting arm and I have a Mazinga sleeve so you could change out Mazinga's 3 missile arm and put on a normal looking arm. I haven't gotten to Daimos yet, but it is being looked at. Here is web page with photos (from my phone, as my wife had the real camera with her today. www.teambac.com/shogun_warriors/Custom_shogun_arms.htmlShoot me a PM if interested, I am looking at $30 + shipping per fist/sleeve for RJ pricing. If you just need a GaiKing sleeve, $12 + shipping.

Wow these are great. I mean really great! Now everyone has a chance to get a high quality repro that looks and feels the real thing. Durable... and more importantly allows you to restore the symmetry back to the Mattel Shoguns appearance.
The modular arm idea is bloody brilliant. It didn't quite click to me till I saw your new pictures and held them in my hand. The cuff and fist are a snug fit, the parts snap into place. The launcher attachment worked perfect.
I don't know how you are getting so close with the colors but GOOD JOB!
I hope everyone out there will pick up a set of these. The level of craftsmanship is very high. Lets hope he makes more interesting additions for our favorite Jumbos!

That is an awesome photo you took Will !!! You have some nice, clean and polish looking Shoguns.
I see that you even added my logo in the upper right hand corner. Sweet !!! I am gonna have to steal the photo and create a real Shogun Warrior page to my website.
Maybe in the next month or so, you can add in your Grendizer with a new reproduction left arm.

Thanks man, I just got myself a first edition that is in great condition but of course missing the most important part, the bowfist. I'm gonna take some pics of it and update my jumbo thread so I'll provide a link soon.

bump. I added a list of parts and prices on the first post.
For Daimos, if you need his leg missiles, I could do them. But, want to refine the mold some more. I also have Raydeen 3rd version missile mold and the blunt nose 2nd version missile.

Been awhile for anything new for customizing. I don't have photos yet, but am getting closer to start molding some parts for a custom bowfist for the jumbo Raydeen. I am basing the look more towards the SOC version. Maybe tonight I will post up the wooden prototype pieces for you guys to critique. I think it will look cooler than the bulky popy version bow pieces and being able to fold out. Seems as though my idea for a shooting arrow has more or less died for modification, but maybe I can add a magnet to hold an arrow along side the bow piece. The bow pieces will be able to collapse and expand by compression fit to stay in their positions.

I haven't uploaded any photos of the custom bow onto my web site, so thought I would attach a couple photos for now.
I am debating whether to try a snap-in bow piece to the main base which may work or may spread out the base and not stay tight. Or go with a separate pin which would not look the cleanest.
I may just have to do a mold of both methods and see what works the best.
Was trying to keep some of the jumbo style and some of the SOC style for the bow.
