Damn - so jealous!! Oh how I want a Combattler JM. Can't wait to see what you do to it. "Custom, earth mover 3, back piece to simulate the tracks" ^ THIS would be phenomenal!! I have been saving for a Combattler. I almost pulled the trigger on one listed the day after Christmas, but hesitated on the BIN price and someone else got it. Then, another Combattler that was complete and original box, but went out of my price range. I feel lucky to have gotten this one at a decent price, but does need a little fixing up. Now, to save for a Danguard Ace, which is going to be much harder to snag. I have a pretty long list of growing projects, it will just take time to filter them all in at some point.

You're really the best, man! Any chance to see a Grendizer collar repro someday? Most of the Popy Grendizer have it damaged or broken....Only you can save them all....Please.... This, is a possibility. I know mine has some chips and has a small crack at one of the screw holes. I had planned on leaving it, as is. But, maybe I shall putty and clean it up some and make a mold of it. Let me see what I can get done in the next couple weeks for that. thanks

I'll take two yo-yo's once you mold them! Which yo-yos are you missing? the shoulder or waist. As you can tell, mine will be missing a shoulder one. But, I could see about doing a waist one too. Do they snap or screw on? I assume screwed onto the jumbo.

Bourno, as soon as I run home I'll check on the Combattler yo-yo attachment method, but I'm almost certain they screw on... You've got quite a list of fun projects!

Ditto on the Combattler yo-yo's I would want at least 4 myself. Wouldn't mind a neck joint for a Grendizer also. PM Sent.

On the neck joint. You both are talking about the very top piece which holds the head piece pins in place. Correct?
I started some work on it last night and had to be careful with the part so it would not chip away more. I may beef up the front area a little, for more strength on the copy.

I may have to burn some vacation days in March to have more time to work on them. I hate to have the Combattler projects delay the Spazer project. And a couple other Daimos parts that need attention Thanks on the check, am sure they are most likely screwed on.

They clip on, and I think the arm and hip ones are the same size.

The part where are inserted the bloody metal screws....Thanks again, I cannot wait to see your repros

A popular and repeated request started today. I used tin cured Mold Max 40 silicone to start the first half of it. In a few days, we will see if things look okay or feasible for molding the leg piece. If so, I will be cleaning up the copy and then make a platinum silicone mold for the part.
I would like to do a pour cast instead of a rotational cast. So, I may end up with a plate cover for the bottom of the foot to allow a silicone insert.
Then, if that goes good, I will cast up the other leg. While cool, I don't have future intentions for other legs as these may be around the $75 - $100 for a set price tag. I started a mold of the knee piece as well.
I believe this may well end the options on upgrade parts for the mattel Grendizer.

I am sure I could do the popy wheels. Then a finishing nail for the axle and a retaining clip to even look like the early style before the wheel trucks. I need to redo my project list for priorities as the list keeps getting longer, lol.

i could vacuum form goldorizer some underpants so he looks like the popy one above the legs. the only thing is that TAP doesnt have HIPS in red. white or black is all i can get. id have to paint it and id much prefer being able to do it in color saturated plastic.

Here is the first piece from the Grendizer neck piece mold. I made it with some of my harder urethane resin that takes a couple days to cure for hardness. Tried to make it a purple/black, but looks pretty much black.

A couple mOre parts and you could simply sell a complete "build your grendizer kit". Lol So is the neck piece for the real Grendizer owners?

hey, if the whole neck piece was available, that would further bring the goldorizers into grendizer territory! you have almost made a complete conversion kit, its true.

Don't tempt me. But, I really don't feel like painting heads. I know that is about the last thing to practically make the european Goldorak version look like the japan Grendizer version. And I have placed the head back onto my Grendizer, so can't mold it now
