It will not damage the paint.. as I use it most of the time... also at chrome area... Pledge formula is silicon base.. so good on plastic, wood, metal...I use it on all my gadget, especially the computer monitor and LCD TV screen, it remove smudges and stay dust free..and it smell good to.. my chogokins smell like lemon zest

Question: I'd like to clean my Camp Big Falcon but I don't know exactly what solution to use. Is pledge or Wipe Out ok?

I just noticed my GX-01R's Jet Pilder's windshield is scratched. Any suggestions how I should fix? Try Novus polish using an old soft T-shirt or lint free cloth. There are three kinds I know of: #1 liquid based comes in a spray bottle, used for ultra fine scratches or for further refining after #2. #2 creamy liquid/not too pasty, used for most light to moderate scratches (this is what you would probably use in most situations). #3 used for heavy scratches. My dad and I have used this over the years for everything from plastics, vintage toys, model cars, around the house, etc. Give it a shot.

This seems to all be advice on preventative measures. What about how to restore metal parts to a nice shine? The upper legs (thighs) on my GX-04 Grendizer are dull and hazy. Any simple recommendations to get it looking nice and new for an eye catching display?

FIXING PLASTIC - CHROME FINISH I have old plastic swords with the silver chrome finish. Some of the spots have the chrome shipping off and the yellow/white showing. Anyone have ideas on how to fix / refinish parts like this? I see it a ton of time on plastic feet parts too.

That is tuff, there is really no fix for that, you can try pledge to brighten them up or carwax without abrasives preferably Carnauba.

Pledge sounds like a horrible idea... chemicals that would break down the plastics/diecast/paint/chrome.

Lemme give them toys a deep red-eyed stare, and I'll scare all that gungus away. ;D
