Actually, considering how much the redesigns for the recent DX's have focused on fixing the complaints, I wouldn't be surprised if the V2.0 VF-25 comes with a stand (as that was one of the big complaints people had).

I think it's already been confirmed that it will come with a stand, probably the same one that came with the YF-29. It's a pretty simple design but it can hold all three modes.

I just hope they release the armor packs alone at major retailers. I hope the quick preorder sell-outs on the YF-29 and now VF-25F show that the accessory packs would be viable wide releases.
