hi guys just took some pics of vf25f version with some comparison pic with the original release...   ill start with the gerwalk mode. it looks way too better than the first version. didnt take the pic of version 1 on gerwalk mode. it looks bad ;D next will be in battroid mode    as you can see the legs are better proportioned with the body. and the torso looks better too.. he doesnt look hunchback anymore in fighter mode, not much difference, except for the cockpit, the second version can have two seater pilot option for the cockpit.  from left to right, 1st version vf25f with armor upgrade parts 2nd release vf25f with super parts (bluish white in color) 3rd release vf25f with tornado parts and upgrade parts for the tornado and the latest 2nd version vf25f (anime accurate) some more pics    comparison with the latest yf-29 if you missed out on the first version vf-25f this is your chance to get one. its basically priced the same as the first version and it comes with a stand that isnt included in first version valks. problem is, upgrade parts like the armor parts(which i tried to put on the 2nd version) won't fit with the second version. and i think the fast pack won't fit too... i think we will be expecting some tamashi exclusive stuffs again or another run on vf25f with fast pack or with armor parts...  good luck to us all ;D tfl |

Nice pics! Looks like the old version has already shown some yellowing on the plastic.

nikodiablo sadly yes, its starting to show some yellowing on the plastic. funny thing is the yellowing parts comes from covered parts of the upgrade armor...

Somehow was able to order one from hobbysearch. So happy to not have to pay exorbitant markup at BBTS. Wish I got the preorder from amiami though for even more savings!

200 bucks for each armor pack? are you @&(*$&@(* kidding me? that's insane.. Who would pay 200 dollars probably 220-250 shipped for an armor set? its more than the figure cost !!!!!

BBTS have them for preorder at $210. In all likelihood, for those of us in the states, going through proxy service or group buy will cost close to $200.
It's ridicules how much we have to pay for these exclusives.

Well, if you can find other retailer selling these tamashii exclusive items in US for cheaper, do let us know. The only other way to get these outside Japan is through proxy service or through group buy, which means commission and/or additional shipping. After the fees and shipping costs it brings you in the same ball park as what BBTS is charging.
I do agree that for other macross items that are not exclusive, BBTS is charging way too much. But we don't have much choice for Tamashii exclusive stuff.
