Bandai's released info for their NEW SUPER PARTS.
VF-25S:
VF-25F:
"VF Chogokin DX-25 (Renewal Ver.)" VF-only appeared for 25 sets of Super Parts. VF became more stylish form-fit to the 25 completely new molding a super pack. Meticulous detail and reproduce the sense of scale, and re-designed aircraft with a sense of unity, and highlight the points that are updated everywhere.
Registration starts on November 11, 2011 Order (Fri) 16:00
Is closed pending orders
April 2012 will ship the goods

Those look so good but I'm late to the party and I aint paying the super inflated prices on the secondary market so here's hoping Bandai will release bundle sets.

Is the original Fast Packs for VF-25 compatible with the renewal VF-25? According to one ebay seller they are:
Bandai claimed that the renewal version VF-25F can be equipped with all previous Bandai WEb Shop released Super parts or full armor parts. In bandai website, bandai quoted the following description: "※DX超合金シリーズで2010年以前に発売された、VF-25用「スーパーパーツ」「アーマードパーツ」「トルネードパーツ」は当商品に装着することは出来ません。 "
Can anyone confirm this?

I'm not sure, I've read that some of the Tornado parts fit and some just stay on with friction so I'm guessing the same is for the Fast Packs. Some parts will fit and some will just rest there using gravity but probably nowhere as securely as the new re-designed Fast Packs. BTW back on sale at HLJ and at a half decent price. Id get one if I didn't spend this months budget on SRC's, SPEC Tekkaman and Pegas and a trailer for my MP Prime :-( www.hlj.com/product/BAN964807 |

After 26 days of SALSP shipping, alto arrived. It's been a grueling few weeks of impatience. Has anybody noticed that SALSP from Amiami is a lot slower than HLJ? I usually get HLJ snail mail in 10 days or so but the two times I used snail mail with Amiami both ended up taking almost four weeks.

I got my last SAL shipment from Amiami in about 8 days.  . That's the thing about SAL shipping - it's unpredictable, unlike the guaranteed 3-4 day nature of EMS. Sometimes you'll get it in a couple of weeks, sometimes you won't get it for a month. |

Had a chance to mess with mine and absolutely love it! It's amazing Bandai was able to improve all 3 modes drastically. So far, this toy gets my vote for toy of the year (out of the ones I bought anyways). It amazes me how good it looks, how anime accurate it is, and how articulated/balanced it is. It is THE ultimate version of the VF-25.

Juz curious, bandai is selling the fastpacks seperately for the renewal version, would there be a chance that bandai might release the renewal version along with the fast packs in the form of a gift set later on?

Probably it looks like their following the same release schedule that they did before. But it may take awhile for them to release one they still have at least two more Valks to release plus armor and tornado packs so IF they release a bundle set it won't be till sometime next year at the earliest.
