Looks like the forearms attach through spring latches and may have a firing punch feature.. But wow $300 may not be Fewture price territory but it ain't chump change either, April and May are gonna be expensive months.

Yes it will be roughly $300 stateside, not sure if my Friend is the Distributor but he is partially responsible for making Dairugger a reality.. His online shop will carry Dairugger along with all vendors who carry Most Wanted products..

Can you post the name of his online shop? That would be sweet! ;D
Like I said, $300 for a 13" diecast Dairugger XV is awesome. Hell, the God Sigma was $250 cheap!!!

I'm curious whether this will be released under the Voltron or Dairugger name. I assume, since Most Wanted is an Asian based company, they will market it under the Dairugger XV name. longbill76, can you verify this?

this is very interesting and i like how is turning out to be but $300 is kinda high for me, but i will have to see this product in its completion to give my final judgement if its worth it or not on that price.
but my biggest concern with this figure is how stable it will be, since its a bunch of vehicles that combine into 1 giant robot and possible it will have diecast in certain vehicles like the feet (exapmle) im worry the connectors might not be strong enough.

It will definitely be called Dairugger XV, this ain't no crappy Toynami release.. From what I was told, Dairugger will be very articulated, I will get more details as soon as I hear from my friend.. The Factory was suppose to send him revised prototype in color, so I will definitely post an update when it happens.. (There will be changes for better scale & articulation) Some are concerned about the $300 price tag, yes it's high but if you really think about it, it's a good price for the size & complexity, SOC GX-59-61 ranges from $250-$300 & they're simpler to manufacture, smaller plus less diecast in comparison to Dairugger XV.. Most Wanted is also a much smaller company than Bandai which means they're manufacturing resources will cost a lot more compared to Bandai so it's kinda amazing that the price is so low.. Look at Max Factory Gokin prices as an example.. (oh by the way, Dairugger will be manufactured in the same factory as all SOC chogokins, so quality will not be an issue )

Trust me guys I am as excited as you are & also concerned on how Dairugger will turn out, I have voiced my opinions so he can pass it to the designers at Most Wanted but we shall see how it goes.. Eventhough I'm new to the forums I am a huge collector of Gokins & share the same passion so I'll be pissed if this turns out to be a Toynami disaster..
I am in no way connected to this Dairugger release, it was pure chance/luck that I met this friend & he just happened to be the one responsible for making it happen.. The only benefit for me is probably to be one of the first to see the finished product ;D

Thanks for the great info. It's great to know that it'll be made in the same factory as SOCs. QC is a big concern with small/relatively new companies. Having an experienced factory to do the job would definitely help. Can't wait to put it next to my vintage Dairugger!

there are a few that I know of, but I've only met a couple in person so far. It's a long shot, but if appropriate, I would be very interested in tagging along to look at the colored prototype! I assume that your friend who has a shop is also in the bay area? (dragonclaw? )
