Actually my buddy is from Oregon, but flies down to the bay area every week for work.. Not sure if he'll even agree to show it to me so I'm not going to push it.. What shop is Dragonclaw?, can you guys maybe suggest some some shops in the bay that carries Chogokins, the only one I know is Cards & Comics, & SF Japantown.. I'm originally from NY so not too familiar with the local shops in the bay.
Thanks..

It will definitely be called Dairugger XV, this ain't no crappy Toynami release.. From what I was told, Dairugger will be very articulated, I will get more details as soon as I hear from my friend.. The Factory was suppose to send him revised prototype in color, so I will definitely post an update when it happens.. (There will be changes for better scale & articulation) Some are concerned about the $300 price tag, yes it's high but if you really think about it, it's a good price for the size & complexity, SOC GX-59-61 ranges from $250-$300 & they're simpler to manufacture, smaller plus less diecast in comparison to Dairugger XV.. Most Wanted is also a much smaller company than Bandai which means they're manufacturing resources will cost a lot more compared to Bandai so it's kinda amazing that the price is so low.. Look at Max Factory Gokin prices as an example.. (oh by the way, Dairugger will be manufactured in the same factory as all SOC chogokins, so quality will not be an issue ) Thanks for verifying! I hope I don't miss the pre-order on this one ;D! BTW, I thought the general consensus on MP Toynami Voltron was pretty decent? Judging on how much it's being sold at ebay right now, it must've been quite successful isn't it? If that's how you feel, wouldn't it be logical for you to "pursuade" the designers at Most Wanted to make a proper DX Golion for their next release ;D

Well I don't hate the toynami MP but I definitely think they didn't put much effort in representing one of the most popular robots ever.. I have many Golions since it's my favorite toy from my childhood.. So I am very critical when it comes to any Golion/Voltron toy.. Trust me I have voiced my opinion on a proper Golion release & even Albegas, my buddy is also a big fan so our opinions were forwarded to Mostwanted so we shall see how it goes..

$300 for a complex transforming gokin is pretty standard these days and coming from a small company like Most Wanted is pretty ok with me. I'm glad this project is still progressing. Can't wait to see the final product!

since you know the "person" at mostwanted, couldn't you get us a "group-wholesale" price?
I am sure it would be a big order from everyone at RJ.

I think you have mistaken, I met someone who has convinced Mostwanted to produce Dairugger.. He has a online shop & will carry the product along with other shops all over the world.. If only I had connections with Mostwanted, Golion would be released already ;D

Hey guys,
sorry been busy with work & everything.. well just got off the phone with my buddy regarding Dairugger, I have good news & slightly bad news..
Ok here's the slightly bad news.. It will be called Voltron not Dairugger, due to licensing issues.. it's a long story & I rather not get into it.. They were fortunate enough to get a license from WEP(World Events Production) just in time before Mattel got the deal.. Vehicle Voltron will be brought by Miracle Productions which is still the same company as Most Wanted..
Ok here's the good news It will come packaged in Max Factory style packaging(Premium heavy duty box) but with English txt printed.. Initial first release will come with 2 swords, a premium Diecast & a regular plastic version.. Price is confirmed at $250 ;D
I am suppose to get more pics from him, so stay tuned for further updates..

I don't mind what it's called as long as its being made. $250 is a lot easier to swallow than $300 so that's fantastic news! Any news on release date? Thanks for the update!

Fantastic update... at least the 50 bucks can be allocated for shipping - and potential custom charges . We all know it's still Dairugger, though ;D!

No problem guys..I'm as anxious as hell for the release which is estimated at late April early May..
My buddy was suppose to email me more pics, I'll post them when he does.. He was suppose to get updated final production photos of Voltron, should be some minor changes like the head will be 5% larger from prototype & other details which I will know once he finds out..

Awesome news...especially the diecast sword. Even though I am a huge fan of the Lion Force, vehicle Voltron was the first Voltron I ever owned so it has a special place in my heart as it was a birthday gift from my parents.
