Rotating seat is anime magic. When the two pilots are having dinner in one of the scenes, they are right next to the SKL Pileder and it is just a little bigger in size than Mazinger's Hover Pileder. Anyway, I'm making my Mazinkaiser as size accurate and anime accurate as I can possibly do. Might even trim the waist/torso portion to make the figure shorter. It should've never been taller than Grendizer. Ever. }D

Mazinkaiser is OK, he must be much taller than Mazinger Z. Just watch the OVA
Mazinkaiser SKL should be as tall as Mazinkaiser, basically it's the same robot

I don't know why you keep saying it's too big. In the OVA Mazinkaiser is more than 1 head taller than Mazinger Z. He has to be huge, he is the Kaiser.

Because Mazinkaiser is 23 meters tall and Mazinger Z is 18 meters tall, so their size difference should not be as much as they made them in the figures. Just so you know, Mazinkaiser has different versions, but even its biggest one is only 28 meters tall. Grendizer happens to be 30 meters tall. Everyone knows that. So there you have another screw-up by Bandai. I'm not a fan of the official measurements, but when figures that are supposed to be made to look at least sort of anime accurate with each other - like the Go Nagai Mazingers, I get disappointed when they are not made well. Yeah, anime scenes vary a lot, but then I always try to find a happy medium between official scales and anime accuracy. So, for this SRC Go nagai Team, Great Mazinger's head is way too small, and Mazinkaiser is way too big. And that, is why it is important if you want to keep some sort of accuracy. BTW, "Kaiser" does not mean biggest one. It means Emperor. Shin Getter should tower over Grendizer and Mazinkaiser by a whole lot! Still, it was made the same size. But I can live with that since Shin Getter is not part of the Go Nagai Mazin Team anyway. With all that said, you like what you like, and I like what I like. No point in arguing, right. }D

Not sure if it helps but last night I watched the Mazinkaiser OVA's and in several scenes Great Mazinger is a full head taller than Mazinger and Mazinkaiser is a full head taller than Great Mazinger.
Then again proportions change drastically from scene to scene in the anime but it looks like those are the proportion they want to establish in the show

In addition, Grendizer should be about a head to head and a half taller than Mazinkaiser. }D

I just want to see more releases. The line went from a release once a month to a crawl!!! Me too, the only src we know for this year is GGGG and nothing else. Is Bandai concentrating their resources on other more profitable toy lines?

Whatever Bandai is doing, they need to start making some universal display bases for their SRC line. Because these mid-sized budget chogokins just Cannot be left out on the shelf with nothing to stand on. Bandai's gotta Git Wit da Program; coz I'm already a step ahead of them on the SRC stands.............. ...this one here I made with Durham's water putty. It's just a rough draft... but even so, it Still looks like sh*t. ...I gave it a test run with my SRC Maz. I dunno. This texture looks TOO busy, too much detail on this base. Back to the drawing board. --------------------------------------- Meanwhile... ♪♪♪ I grab the DX Scrander base...♪♪♪ ...and I cut an old CD tray down to size...♪♪♪ ...I lay it on the base... da base, da base, da base, da buh-buh-Base... ♪♪♪ ...but first, I scratched some panel liiiiiiiiiiiiiines...♪♪♪ ...How do ya Like me Now? ♪♪♪ COME AT ME, BRAH! zozo-mag

In the anime he looks at least 28m, he towers Mazinger Z. Grendizer can't be 30m, in the crossovers he looks just a bit taller than Great Mazinger

gapudo, the official heights ARE wrong. If you take the official specs of the likes of Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, and Gredizer from the Official Mazinger Bible, and stick to them to draw the characters, you will see what I mean. They come out totally deformed! But I use those heights in order to visualize the size of each one in comparison to the other. Not that Mazinger really is 18 meters as shown on the screen (more like 30 meters), but then I have to assume that the Great Mazinger, Mazinkaiser, and Grendizer would still only be "one head" taller than the previous one. BTW, here is a capture from my original Mazinkaiser OVA DVDs: That's where I got those "official" sizes I mentioned previously. }D

There has to be something wrong with those weights. Great Maz is 2 meters taller than Maz but weights over 50% more than Maz? Yet there's only a 7 ton difference between Great Maz and Mazinkaiser?
Something doesn't add up here...
Should be more like 25... 30... and 45
That makes more sense to me. Specially since Kaiser is taller AND wider than Maz and Great Maz. He looks like a bodybuilder next to 2 skinny kids

I'm sure most of us watched the Final Episode that Great Mazinger "The Real One " Handled & Beat an Entire army of Mechanical Beasts with no sweat at all .

Good point there. In the OVA we hear Jun Ono calling Great Maz a prototype, as the real Great Maz appeared in episode 7, as a more powerful robot than its previous version back in episodes 1 through 3.
