Man i would love to have the popy version compared to the LJN version. Even though they look pretty close that extra rocket firing feature is top notch.

The color is a little different, but when I got two replacement wings for my LJN off Ebay, the color was almost a match to the one I sent you. Will said his were darker red. I wonder the there is some color variation in the LJN Voltron wings?

I wonder the there is some color variation in the LJN Voltron wings? Could be that or the lighting. I'll compare the 3 Voltrons I have and see if any if those vary appreciably. Will

I wonder the there is some color variation in the LJN Voltron wings? The red blow molded polyethylene seems to like to fade over time. The degree to which it happens it probably related to how much UV light the piece has been exposed to over the years which is why some are still dark red while others are much lighter.

will: Thanks and I am keen to know as well if there are variant. I am sure it is not due to the lighting, the colour is different, maybe might be Luclin's reason, the colour faded over the years? But amazingly the popy one did not fade? just weird, cheers d.o.e

The more sunlight the piece is exposed to over the decades, the more faded it will become.
Thus a wing exposed to sunlight (perhaps played with outdoors or displayed on a shelf next to a window) would fade more than one kept in a box or a room away from windows over the years.

All 3 of mine are the same color. Which is the exact same shade as the Red Lion arm.

will: thanks for checking your golions out. At least now more or less can confirm the wing is decolourised and chances of variants of golion wings is less possible As some people here might know that the bootleg 80cm jumbo mazinkaiser had always been one on my wants list. And I am very lucky as a local collector in my country is selling him out, the deal was done on the same day and finally I have him in my collection:

Hi DOE,
Your collection is awesome. I love the way you pose your jumbos. Im headed to Brazil on March 17th....I don't know of any places to look down there that would have jumbos or vintage toys. With my luck lately, I'll be in Brazil with no wi-fi access and a Godsigma or another of my most wanted jumbos will hit YJA and I'll never know about it, lol!
