Very nice piece. Almost looks like it came right off of a toy store shelf from 1981.

rodman75: I did not regret this purchase as the condition is really good to my expectations. Our collection seems very similar only if i also have your MIB BFJ ;D . It is also interesting because we started around the same time. So now the headache is how to recover the damage to my wallet. luclin999: The fact that I am born in the same year as him in 1981 made me more attached to the godmarz. But I think he is more well maintained than me given we are same age. I think i need some SK2 anti aging cosmetics soon to keep up with him ;D best doe

Nice catch Doe! The one same year as me is Reideen, easy target. Those 80s JMs sure are rare.

Nice catch Doe! The one same year as me is Reideen, easy target. Those 80s JMs sure are rare. I agree, it seems like they started cutting down on e production numbers for each new figure sometime after 1978 so just about any of them that were released in '79 or later are going to be more scarce.

Yup, I think Popy focused on their better selling chogokin figures in the 80s and cut production of JMs as its the other way round with chogokin, the 80s ones are more commonly seen like the Godmarz chogokin. I agree, it seems like they started cutting down on e production numbers for each new figure sometime after 1978 so just about any of them that were released in '79 or later are going to be more scarce.

Speaking of Gordian, WTF? $3550.01 for a closing price on E-Bay! Didn't Kitsir have one for sale for a friend for only $2200?? Congrats to the winner and I'm no stranger to overpaying for JM's but that price shocked me. You guys agree? I guess certain Jumbos or collectors who need/want a certain JM really bad are willing to pay.

Actually the broken, loose, incomplete BFJ for $1525 surprised me as well.

The closing price for the two Robot Factory is really just insane, so insane that it becomes stupid at one point. I wonder if the winner of the Gordian knows that it's missing the shoulders joints? As for the Battle Fever, that's just way too much for one like that. People are just mad I think...

kitsir & wrcfan: thanks ! It is indeed a good catch as I waited for a godmarz for quite long already ;D luclin999: thanks for the timeline, do you happen to have the full time line of the enitre jumbo line? It will be interesting to know who came first and who came later. bourno: do buzz me when you are cashing out your items. I always suspect you have an original spazer ;D ;D ;D best doe

bourno: do buzz me when you are cashing out your items. I always suspect you have an original spazer ;D ;D ;D LOL, if I had one, I would be showing it off Thought I would help entice some people to sell and maybe flood the market to bust the Jumbo bubble But, I don't see that happening like our housing market did a few years ago, because popy isn't making more. My collection has only increased recently by adding a Poseidon. And soon a T28. I am not sure how hard I will be searching around for more popy versions as I am pretty happy with what I have. I may put some more time into modifying some extra jumbos for a Doublas, and a couple short lived giant robots from the Marvel comics. Along with scratch building another custom jumbo or two. I also have a short list of custom accessories that I haven't gotten around to yet.

Oh, Bourno, please tell me you are thinking about building a Red Ronin. I would love to see that! If you ever do such a thing, please post pics.
