Have you tried placing an online order at TRU? I don't know about the shipping cost, but I'm sure they would deliver it. ( Don't laugh folks, I know what y'all are thinking: "What's Magengar doing HERE in the Power Rangers thread?!" Given my reputation for mutilating PR figures... lmao)
zozo-mag Thanks CFF. Yeah first place I tried. All out at TRU my 50 mile radius. I don't REALLy want it and def don't need it so....

Evidentally, Greengetterguy just said on last page that he is waiting on his shipment from TRU. I know people post for the sake of posting and padding their amount of posts (i hope ur not one of those, heck even why for those people?)

Nope, that aint me and for as long as I've been active here at RJ star-counts and post-counts never mattered to me, I just like to get involved where ever/when ever I can here at RJ day and night.
As for Greengetterguy's post, I didn't realize it was dated that far back. This new RJ format often blinds me to old posts because the dates are located in a different layout style whereas the old RJ format obviously showed the post dates right by the user's comment title per post.

Lol..... Green, I'm not too far behind ya. I turn 48 on Aug 2nd. But, lately I've been feeling like I'm 84! lmao @ Heta: I'm not offended at all... on the contrary, I'm Flattered! But, you made a good point about folks posting just to pad counts and such. After I joined RJ and realized I was gaining stars I've stated that those things never mattered to me. I'm also a member at and they use a similar post-count system, but instead of ranking with stars they use avatar images of all the super-robots and mechas from each year or era starting with Tetsujin28 (1963) and up to the most recent mecha... ...as members post, they graduate in rank from one robot or mech to the next more-powerful robot or mech by its anime date... Rather than play that game, I asked the site admin to leave my rank fixed ungraduated and submitted my own robot avatar that isn't an official super-robot or mech... ( my CG model, "Mazin King Kaiser") ...I've kept it that way since I joined Garada's Place back in March 2004; and I currently have 1,788 posts there-- only because I'm not as active over there as I am over Here at RJ. lol ---------------------- Anyway, now back on topic......... That there Dino Megazord looks really nice. I never quite kept up with the Power Ranger series (U.S. version), but of all the megazords the Rangers have used I think I like this one the best. Too bad many of the megazord toys don't have much articulation especially in the arms. But still, that is one huge toy franchise. Bandai should start a separate die-cast toyline for the megazords and designate them as "PR", similar to the "SOC" and "SRC" designations. zozo-mag

Actually, you dont have to like power ranger series to buy the toys. In fact i hated power rangers shows, i find them too childish for my taste (perhaps i caught them at the wrong era )I bought some of the bots because i simply like their looks, and despite the limited articulation, i appreciate their solid build quality, and the dino megazord is one good example

Agreed the toys are well made. We had original megazord, tigerzord, red dragon, thunderzords, and tor as kids along with a ton of figures. The show was cool for a couple seasons to us and then just ok.
Some sentai bots are really great and others aren't bad.
But you definitely don't need to like the show. I was blown away by Bioman and Biodragon, as well as daidenjin and made sure to get those for my collection. Really just awesome toys.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the show either.
I do LOVE the mecha and character designs though. Very cool. Man I would def buy diecast line that's similar in quality of SOC. In fact I wish Bandai would just make a large combining SOC Daizujin. That would be an all kinds of awesome, an "epic win." As kids these days would say....haha

I am still on the fence on this one. How is the diecast content, plastic feel, and finish?

I am still on the fence on this one. How is the diecast content, plastic feel, and finish? Partial diecast. Check the collectiondx review. Pretty much the previous plastic legacy megabits with some small areas of diecast.

I just put him together. It only takes less then 5minuts. He def is heavy and have a GREAT shelf presence. Tons of diecast and lots of clicky joints. He's HUGE~!
Alright here the cons... I guess since he's based on old design the articulation DEF lacks... All the graphics are done in cheesy foil stickers. Knees don't bend back but it will fold forward...what?...yeah. (Bandai, please don't give me "oh it's due to the Transforming combining excuse...") All the horns are made of poisonous soft vynil PVC..Thanks. Knee connectors should of been more robust..right now I'm kind of afraid I might hurt it if I push too hard.
For $75 a huge heavy and very playable diecast toy that combines and transforms that will throw you back to the 80s? I say that def worth it. Oops, another huge plus (for me anyway), no styro anywhere for the packaging, just recycled paper pulp in the shape the the robot content. Good job Bandai.
BTW, on the box, I see the actual Daizujin as in the actor in robot suit. Bandai, I would love to see a SOC in that EXACT proportion. with HUGE head short body with thinner thighs. STOP glaming these characters with small head with elongated body. Just give me more screen accurate toy. Are you listening to me? Prob not...Sorry about the wall of text.

I got mine in the mail today from the Toys R Us restock.
I have to agree with all the points that Greengetterguy mentioned above. This is probably the best $59.99 I have spent in a long time. I'm really happy with this robot. And even though I had the all-plastic 1st version, the experience with this one is incredibly a new one. Great job Bandai. A great toy for a great value.

Dont be on the fence for this guy, its the restock so go out and grab it before its too late! For this price range you cant go wrong.
The only complaint that i have is the weak connecting joints. if you play with it alot, overtime the legs connector along with the arms will lose out. These are the same connection gimmack that used for all the megazords US toys. Speaking from experience, all my US released megazords has floppy loose joints due to overplayed. (i mean normal handling of once a day combining)

Not to go OT, but the morpher is a pretty nice piece of kit as well. My brother picked one of those up and they were pretty hard to get.

Last Friday, while at Toys R Us purchasing Transformers Generation Springer, Blitzwing, and Sandstorm, I saw the Dino Megazord boxes next to them. The store has 3 boxes and they were unmolested, so I broke down and bought one.
Die cast is OK, sword will not fit as stated on previous reviews, but it does have shelf presence. If you are looking for posse-ability, get the SRC. As this one is just for shelf presence and nostalgia.
