I thought that 500.00 for the Photon lab, was a bit steep... although I have weeks in work, not to mention all the looking for items, not like they just make all the parts that put into the lab... but then I seen these 2 diaromas for sale on ebay...I could build those in a day...and they want 200.00 for just the pool, and 400.00 for a tiny city ?

Dont get me wrong, this city set is pretty cool, but is it an actual scene from the show, or just a made up city ? If it was me, I would look for a certain scene from a show, and build that one...just me I guess ?

He's been trying to sell that for several months now. He was asking for $1000 just for the city and the two robots at first, but the I contacted him asking if he could build me a Photon Lab. He said he couldn't, but several weeks later he emailed me and told me he could just make the pool for Mazinger if I was interested in that - which I wasn't. So he made it anyway and put it on Ebay for a crazy price instead. I totally like the one you made 1000 times better! ;D

LOL thats really funny...I wrote him on ebay and asked if he ever sold anything like that, and told him to look here for the photon lab you commissioned ....so he could see how to do a full one....That rocks... I really needed that laugh friend.....

Well, I doubt he will sell them for those prices. That is just way too much. You can actually get those buildings from HLJ oe even Ebay for roughly $30 each for the pre-piainted, and about $20 for the unpainted. The figures will be about $200 for both, since the Chrome or Manga Grendizer sell for about $50 and Giru-Giru can still be found for roughly $150. So, IMO, $800 is a lot for it.  }D |

I think the hardest part with making and selling an item like that is this......all the roborts vary in size from company to company , so getting the height correct for someones Mazinger or other robot gets tough...should the buildings be 6" high or 8" high to be correct for that robot |

Thos building are super awesome, I bet a hobbie shop could order or even have something like that, N scale would work best, HO scale might be a little too big, but that really depends on the robots size....The photon Lab is really close to N scale, just a shade bigger.
I know I seen some really awesome model houses and buildings at my local hobby shop.
Thats where I got the pine tree's...of course 4 tree's cost 25.00....But it's something thats not super easy to build yourself !!!!
And yes bro, you will be getting it real soon, I think it will be shipped Saturday, or Monday at the latest.....

Well Bro, I printed the shipping ticket for the Photon Lab today !!!! I think it should go out tomorrow, Priority mail...so you should see it within 3/4 days....Will that work with your schedule ? will you be around to pick it up ?

Maybe I'll ship it Saturday just to be safe, I figured out I will have to ship in 2 packages, 1 for the Lab, and one for all the extra parts.....I took down some measurements of different item, like the tower, radar , smoke stack car port and such, so when I get a chance, I'll make battle damage parts of all of those removable parts !!!! Good idea ?? |
