Good eye........It's my wifes, I found it 2 years ago, during spring clean up !!!! So would 30.00 for a finished building be a fair price ? and maybe 15.00 for the kit ? it pretty easy to assemble once it's all cut out....all thats needed is some elmers glue..some gator /paper clips..then your choice of paint..

so far I have 4 hours in the one building..but designing it takes the longest...I might be able to sell even cheaper..I need to see the assembly time after I get it fully designed !!!

What paint do you use for the cardboard buildings? When I made mine, I used regular house paint (glidden) and it made the cardboard all soft and "wet". I tried to keep the paint to a minimum, but even so, it didn't work out. }D

Thanks 4 letting me know that !!! I guess I'll use spray paint to seal it, and to add the base color. Then once its sealed and dry, I'll use Mr. Color paint for accent color

I came up with better way to build these...It looks like a ceral box layed open.. 1 thing I noticed in all that super robot shows, is that every other building has a radio tower on it, so I'm trying to figure out how to make a tower easy and cheap !!!

IT REALLY LOOKS BETTER IN PERSON, YOU CAN SEE ALL THE LAYERS, AND IT LOOKS MORE REAL. SOME SECTIONS ARE 2 LAYERS AND SOME ARE 3 LAYERS OF CARD BOARD. IM MAKING A BILLBOARD FOR ON TOP

Looking at the cardboard buildings, couldn't you build the Mikeros, and the other Fortresses, out of cardboard instead? Not cereal box cardboard, but something a little thicker like shipping boxes? Something like a cardboard papercraft model. All you would really need to find is the right glue, one that dries really fast and is really strong... }D

I thought about it, some fortress's would be easy, but round shapes are tricky, maybe if I can find some different size cardboard tubes ? I did buy 2 sheets of 2" thick foam, to build a light ship, I just need a hot knife, to shape, and cut it....

How do you paint foam to make it look like a plastic made ship at the end?

I was thinking that one of those small oval shaped plastic waste baskets could work for the Fortress Ghoul's body. Do you know what I'm talking about? The little waste baskets they sell at Walmart for like $5 or $6 each... }D

How do you paint foam to make it look like a plastic made ship at the end? It would need to be coated , its also a small pore foam, so if all the cuts are smooth, a heavy coat of latex paint could do the trick. I'll do a small quick one, and show some pix, to help explain it better
