Yeah, f**k the Canadian dollar. I'm also from Newfoundland, so combine sh*t dollar with highest retail taxes. I'm in Alberta and the economic state and dollar value is preventing me from buying anything non essential. My wife is almost unemployed and I'm the only with with a full time job supporting 3 kids (one in university, one highschool, and the other in grade 8). You should have gotten a vasectomy so that you can buy more robots... ...I kid, I kid! Nah, I seriously hope the financial situation improves for you and your family.

BBTS has one of the best after service anywhere. Unlike crappy Anime Export, if Something goes wrong, theyll back it up. Just read the fine print. If you like your boxes minty, they also Arguably have the best packing job anywhere......

I too can vouch for BBTS...impeccable customer service. Probably THE best...the only lousy thing is the bad USD to CAD exchange rate for me. But, I still buy quite a bit of stuff from them because of the PoL option and the zero hassle preorder cancellations.
They are my main source for 3rd-party toys.

HLJ had the toy also on discount a couple weeks back from their Spring Sale. I dunno if it's still on though. I was able to get the Chogokin Jibayan for very cheap.

it have some decent engineering and all but it just wasn't for me even tho i came very close to buy one, also if you get him you will feel the need to get optional parts and the GX-69 so you will spend alot of money however its up to, go watch reviews read people feedback then decide is it for you or not

He has a good amount of poseability with his engineering and is a rather cool looking and solid robot. If you are a fan of Gaogaigar, getting the Goldymarg is also something to put on the list. I would only suggest the most hardcore of Brave or Gaogaigar fans to pay $300+ on the Star Gaogaigar add-on. The best thing about it is that with the new boosters only compatible with the Stealth Gao it comes with as well as the stand to help support it, it makes for an amazing display piece even though it relegates Gaogaigar to being a really good looking statue. But for most, the Star Gaogaigar add-on is skippable.

You're right. That Star GaoGaiGar looks amazing on the robot. I don't own one but I purchased the GX-68 and I really want the Star. It sucks that it's so expensive.

Even without the Hammer and Star parts, GGG is a really good SOC release. Only flaws I find are loose ankles on the lion and Gaigar. But when combined, its rock solid, robust, and hefty. The triple shoulder joints need some getting used to, but after fiddling with it for a while, I am used to how it works (all metal ratchets). It also got working tank tracks, fully articulated hands, and a real working helmet (that looks awesome and not weird). Bandai took a lot of effort making this one right in many things. If you remotely like the look and design, quality is not the thing you need to worry about. Do it!

Thanks everybody. I was thinking about the same thing too Goldymarg, and the optional set. maybe will get Goldymarg later idk. and I can live without the optional set.. so It's not a big issue for me.
Thanks again!!

GGG is actually still quite playable with Star Parts on, regardless of the giant boosters. Its the hammer & Marg hand that makes it a statue. For non diehard fans, just getting GGG by itself is good enough, getting the best stuff for what you pay for. Star Parts are mainly for folks that preordered (even that was expensive). Getting it at aftermarket price now is quite ridiculous.

Thanks again!! it wasnt my plan getting GX-68 due the fact its one of the expensive chogokins out there plus the ridiculous money ull shell out on 2 add-on parts .. but probably it was destiny to own one.. i saw a unit being sold half the price.. who am i to resist such a good deal hehe.. btw another option is getting the SRC Gaogaigar with goldimarg and Star Gaogaigar parts.. wherein u can display a separate complete Gaogaigar.. its not transformeable but if youll gonna display Gaogaigar most of the time in robot mode .. it really doesent matter..

yepthats what ive said from the beginning. the src with the hammer and star parts is just overall a better option to me, unless the sheer hulking size of the set is a draw, then there's no contest at all.

yup... and definitely waayy cheaper. speaking of hammer.. Goldymarg.. has anyone tried using Takara/Sonokong's much older 2k-3kyen version of Goldymarg as a replacement for SOC Goldymarg.. might work. I sold mine years ago. but more likely it wont fit.. or atleast what he look like just holding it with his bare hands lol

Charles from OptimusPrimeSG has proven that the connection for the DX toy from the 90s was too big and barely fits over the connection for SoC Gaogaigar. The CM's Corp release also does not fit so no Gadget Tools either.
