Looks like the new option set comes with a refined sculpt for the head.

Nice.. is good to see this releases. Is there any difference with the first option set they released? Only change I can spot is the gold chrome on the Star Gao rings. The original was just a regular semi-matte gold that matches the GX-68's. I just checked mine. Wow! It's rare to see bandai making a reissue of a tamashii web exclusive. Thanks.

Looks like the new option set comes with a refined sculpt for the head. The original has them too. A non transforming GGG head, and a Gaigar face part (though its been a while so I don't even remember what this one looks like). Can't tell if the new set is web exclusive or not, since the info is most likely on the next page of the magazine. This thing is huge when combined, pretty much the biggest SOC in terms of mass/volume. The original set info for comparison: tamashii.jp/item/11194/

Oh yeah I totally forgot about this option set...the Aftermarket prices are funny. Might get it but I’m kind of happy with my GGG holding GoldyMarg Hammer.

i skipped it, but i would like to ask you guys is the GX-68 worth getting ? what do you like most about it ? You are asking the wrong question. It should be "Why I haven't got GX-68 already?" Honestly, it is among the best SOC line has to offer. People mainly just have issue with the price (among the first that inching into the $300 mark). Also, it is not complete until you get the GX-69 Hammer ($150-ish), and then the Star option set (which was web exclusive for $200). So a complete GGG is around $600, and that sounded very scary a few years ago. However, POSE+ is also making one with stylized aesthetics. So if you got the money, there are more options now.

Common complaint from some is that it took too much space and once include the hammer is takes like two hands to move it properly.
But I enjoy mine because of the massive shelf presence.

Though to be fair, its kind of a given with such weight and size of the Marghand, especially if one owned any previous GGG combiner. Yeah, it needs the stand or some support to pose with the hammer for sure.

Anyone see the new part set for him? The asking price is ridiculous for what you get. Over $200 for some option parts.

Thing is you see aftermarket prices they are outrageous ... hard to be a collector these days but I think it’s a must. Above all prices on evilbay are ridiculous ... so I think it’s a deal per say?

The price is not cheap but it’s actually a deal for anyone that was looking a star options set that was originally released a couple of years ago The box is huge too . So if you plan for international shipping, it’s not going to be cheap .

I paid $199.66 shipped back in 2016 for the Option Set so its definitely not a bad deal at all. As f360 metioned I would definitely go with a US retailer to save on shipping.

Hurrah! I was able to order the set from BBTS. I am so glad I didn't pay over $500 for this item on the secondary market. Yippeee! My GX68 will soon be complete!
