Well, some people are going to love it, happy about it. Some people are going to hate it, disappointed with it. I am disappointed with it because it have so much potential. Nothing wrong with doing something new and exciting Steampunk style on super robots, I like the arm, some body work and the 'industrial' paint application. But the hips joints and the inconsistent design kill it for me.  |

Nyaaaaah, I don't think it has been released yet.
It's still up for preorders at EE (Entertainment Earth),
and I think BBTS also has it listed for preorder.

Josh probably got a freebie from Threezero for doing the review. I think he mentioned that it was a "sneak peek".

this deserves a second look....love the way they revive Aprhodite A.... Mazingers look OK from head to the hip....except it looks like Mazinger is wearing black diapers.....aaarrrgh.....its just look horrible....  |

I see that many of you like ThreeZero's Aphrodite A. Does it mean you're gonna buy it? If so, wouldn't it mean you're eventually gonna buy the ThreeZero Mazinger Z to complete the themed duo?

i would consider buying Maz if they would make it look like the picture above.....and if they sell it for a reasonable price.....the edited picture looks far more better than what theyre selling..... |

Mos Def better. It makes the Frankensteinish feet look smaller too.
Design wise this thing is still a mess though....almost un salvageable.
Now the hips fixed but what are you going to do about his dainty hands , and his ridiculous giant knees and shoulder handles. Those make him look like a giant toy and they were going for realistic look?
Also, His completely impractical pistons on his waist? The list goes on and on. Might as well scrap the whole thing and start over.

Cuz (for example) displaying a Bandai SOC Mazinger Z next to a ThreeZero Aphrodite is like wearing a pair of shoes, one Adidas, another Nike!  That's why: disorder. |
