Apollyon is looking quite good. I hope the final product stands up to the anticipation

Digibases : Badcube gived some informations : OTS-06 HYPNO. we sometimes wonder why our figure look better inperson than photo. the design of the knees on all 3 robots are different and we found out the prototype material is too loose, the knees flopped back inside, so the overall look leads to shorter proportion. He lost about 4mm in photo compared to his 3D art, and the hips are also loose when posed in wider stance. (prototype only, not final)... as said they are only prototype and 06 Hypno will have lengthen legs by roughly 5mm (he looks shorter now due to collapsed knees)

There is a 3rd run of Cubex (BADCUBE) Huff : chimungmung.com/product_info.php?products_id=2262I unboxed my Soars : Great toy (heavy due to diecast). Joints are very tight. My only minus could be about an engineering/design detail : it could a bit less blocky/brick if arms could slide a bit in the chest. Packaging (cardboard) quality is better now, with a double styro box separating the toy, accessories and the huge transparent display stand (articulated). I never get the G1 Dinobots when I was young and now I got my revenge

So far I think Swoop is the best figure FT has put out, very nice. Yep, they improved a lot since the first Dinobot. Robot mode is compact and truly respectful of the cartoon design. As I said, they are trying to give a MP toy of a cartoon character, not to a G1 toy... They keep the minimum reference from the G1 toy and stick to the cartoon. Great !

^ ToyWorld's Devilstar, right? Nice sculpt. Given the choice between that and DX9's version, I may go with the one with gokin. But, man...there's just too many collectors' toys these days. Can't keep up. Still need to get Quantron and MX-I Apollyon is calling my name. Argh. >_< Yeah, yeah...1st world problems.

I wish Chigurh's altmodes were more like Devilstar's You know, Devilstar is a strange one. The altmodes portray realistic vehicles, but the robot mode diverts from the G1 cartoon appearance and is more into stylized CHUG territory instead. If you don't fold out the front of the feet, they replicate G1 Astrotrain's stumpy feet perfectly!

Mmmmh... Sharp. I was sure about this : MT keep matching their line, scale and design orientation. Collecting bring a unique TF collection. Great. Chromedome is so dynamic (bye bye Function X 1). -> I need a Quantron !!!! Edit : ok I just wrote bullshhhh... about scale... Chromedome is (rumor) about 23 cm High. MP is the standard.

That MT Hound kills the TFC version.

That MT Hound kills the TFC version. Pretty much anything from any company kills TFC. I f*kng hate that crappy company and their fugly aesthetic designs of boxy looking transformers. I always felt that if you like to buy a regular Hasbro toy but want to pay 3P prices, TFC is there for you.

You are a bit hard eheh, the designs can be criticized, but they choose to make toys a child can play with. Solid. They did the first strike on combiners with Hercules. The design fade a bit since other companies came to the game, but they choose their own style. The Predaking is not they bad. Imo I was disapointed by Superion and his Gobots transformation pattern. Badcube is giving more joy with the engineering involved in the minibot serie. Check Wardog !

Just felt super ripped off by that damn Hercules. Using engineering style of a child toy when they are targeting collectors, I guess there is a fan base for that since they do have a following. But it's not my thing and I still dislike their design choices. My opinion on TFC remains, fugly box like aesthetics, simplistic transformations and unfit as collectibles in my collection.

I have to say that I prefer the Maketoys version of Hound, but with the "modern" transformation. The other one looks like his arms and torso are not transformed all the way.
