Allright - here's Toyworld's contender for the Devastator. Not sure what the size level is, but from the teaser they seem aim at masterpiece styling - the robot and alt mode designs seem to reflect the G1 toys very accurately. Definitely another alternative for anyone who still doesn't have a Devastator yet. I saw this on FB. Way too big for my taste. Not sure why they choose not to scale it with their dinobot and Thottlebot combiners. For this size, I hope they can engineer a way to not parts form the arms. So far, as much as I dislike my TFC Hercules, at least Scavenger and Bonecrusher transform into arms. Parts forming only the fist. At this size, if they can engineer perfect transformation where the fist and forearm are not parts formed, that would be the next level. The chest plate, I can accept parts forming.

My thoughts exactly. At this size scale, the forearms, fists and thighs should be perfect transformation. However, judging how clean Scavenger, Bonecrusher and Longhaul looks from the render, that doesn't seem to be the case. I hope I'm wrong.
Well, the Maketoys Devastator has the forearm parts as towed in extra generator and I'm okay with it, but the thighs were already integrated into Longhaul.

Transformation pattern looks the same as G1...

That does look pretty good and I like the size. But it might be to big, this would tower over Rex and Warbotron and not fit on any of my shelves but I do have my eye on this. Right now the Generation Devastator is in my sites!

Yup I saw that upgrade, I sold my FP Bruticus though awhile back. I'm surprised this came out but I'm sure there is still a market for it.

Damn. All these Devastators! I already have 2 original G1's, one of them with all the CrazyDevy upgrades, a Maketoys Green Giant, TFC Hercules and CW Devy. All these companies struck my Achilles heel. Devastator is my favorite combiner!

You know that's some pretty crazy engineering to have articulated legs and working tracks for the alt-mode. I think I'm getting this one too, as long as toyworld sells the components individually.
I want to see how Hook and Long Haul, my favorite members would look in the set.
