Wow! All the delays and they still didn't strip the fake Trademark markings off the packaging. (Last picture, bottom right corner. ) uncanny.

Josh from Collection DX received a review copy Getter Arc and reviewed it months ago. To date I think that's the only one I have spotted in the wild. But I could be wrong on that. The price kinda turned me off and I stopped looking for them. |

They are not fresh out of the box units. You can tell from the ton of paint wear on them. Especially on the full color one. To date, as near as I can tell from photos that they have shown, we have never seen more than a single colored unit in any picture. So it might just be the one, or a very very small number. If they are saying September release than at best those would only just now be in the factory. We know there are ~ 50 pieces of the Black, simply because we have seen production pictures with exactly that many on display. Stop believing what they say. Look at what they actually show. Look at what's actually there. Not the impression they are trying to give. |

Those two pieces displayed are obviously hand painted samples that'd been around the block as Faelon stated.

To be honest, the coloured Voltron paint job is not really good for the asking price. DOn't get me wrong, the colour itself is gorgeous, just the application. Reminded me A LOT of the way Miracle Works Vehicle Voltron was painted. Then again, as pointed out by others, this could be the demo version, and not the mass produced ones.

I see some edge wear on a lot of the sharp edges. Especially the painted portions of the Lion legs on the colored. The black looks a bit better for the most part. The colored also has some chipping on the black lions snout. but the black version was showing alot, also they shipped couple of samples around the regular version is a rare thing to see, this is maybe the 3rd time we see it officially in a toy fair so it should be the other way around lol anyways lets wait and see |

The paint is well applied. But you can tell by looking at it that it isn't a good quality paint. It has a large particle size and also looks thin and fragile. You can tell it will wear off edges with even the most gentle handling. It's not that cured Automotive Paint that Bandai, Sentinel and Fewture tend to use. |

Icarus responded aug 15 when I asked them when the Dark Lion set will be released...I'm beyond hyped to get my hands on a set but they've been saying it'll be available for quite sometime. Does anyone have anymore info about this set specifically? It's been rough sitting on the funds I've set aside lol

Don't know why this was a separate thread but you posting this in the King of Beasts thread was the latest news I'd heard of it, and if that'd come direct from the source I'd say it's more accurate than anything we'd have as consumers.
