In hand I have to say that the paint is absolutely gorgeous! They really knocked this one out of the park. It distinctly sets this version of Voltron apart from the SOC Voltron. Not quite as hefty but substantial in its own right. It’s a beautiful figure for sure.

I’d say I’ll be ready to purchase this within 2-3 weeks. I can’t wait to add it to the dark lion and SOC. Looks great! Thanks for sharing

quick question for those who own both, bandai and icarus version, If you have to choose just one, which one would you pick? (I missed the SOC and waiting for a new release, but this one seems really good)

I'm not into repaints either. But this is hard to resist.... Its not just a repaint. The red and green lions have new molds. The yellow and blue lions are also remolded and not just different paint on same mold. Icarus toys added improved articulation to the Black lions legs that greatly improve posing in voltron mode. More articulation to all 4 lion heads. Its a must buy even if you have mad toys version. |
