quick question for those who own both, bandai and icarus version, If you have to choose just one, which one would you pick? (I missed the SOC and waiting for a new release, but this one seems really good) its depends, if you like your figure anime accurate then the SOC is unbeatable, but if you like to have a uniquely designed figure then the KOB is for you, however i think both are a must for any Voltron fan for me i think i will go for the new KOB, its just a beautiful looking figure and the paint is awesome, even tho i already have V1 and im not into repaints (this is how good is this figure) if you missed the SOC i highly recommend going for the the new KOB then start saving for the SOC if Bandai reissued it, you wont regret it |

OK I just received my Icarus Voltron from Lau at LCMTOY.COM (Shipped Jan 11 and received Jan 15) and the f'ing paint is super sick! WOW! So shiny and metallic!
The joints are stiff and annoying to pose but ya they hold!!! Ratchets are nice! I forgot to pull the heads down for blue and yellow lion so it was kinda of wobbly but when pulled down equal, it's SOLID!!!! I'm so happy i'm done collecting Voltron.
I don't think I can recommend to get just one SOC or Icarus versions.
I bought the SOC and told myself I would regret it for the rest of my life if I didn't buy it at the time I did... I knew it was a waiting game for the Icarus versions but I knew to save up and eventually they would be mine. They are completely different in every way. Bandai and Icarus have done amazing jobs!
I noticed on the back of the black lion it had a WEP and trademark logo. Wonder what that's about?

Did the box arrive without any problems (e.g. dents, crushing, etc)? I take it they used EMS if you're in the US? The main box is wrapped in plastic bag and is packed in a thicker brown box with foam padding and those black plastic corner protectors. Then that package is wrapped in a waterproofed wrap. Yes he used EMS as I requested that instead of DHL, still free though. I'm in Montreal Canada. 4 days is awesome imo. Lau has sent me 2 Voltrons and I'm 100% satisfied with his communication and service. Recommend him highly. |

Can someone post a close-up of the two faces? I am curious if they change the sculpt from the KoB v1. The V1 sculpt wasn't very good.

Back to the original Infinity Gokin ∞01, three years ago, I did some repaints to his sword and shield(s) to make them more vibrant! Today, I made a new lil' change to GoLion himself, which I have been afraid to do for a longtime in case I'd mess it up, specially with my sight getting poorer, thanks to the damn diabetes! However, I think I did a fine job  Can you spot it?  |

However, I think I did a fine job Can you spot it? Nice job on extending the red paint on both sides of the chest/shield area! The KOB is a magnificent piece, and I can't wait to get the updated version. |

@thegame What kind shelving are you using? I found it locally for $30 got 5 trays can be adjust up to 20 inches height figure.
