Gotta love resurgence of collectors shops in SoCal. I remember seeing this Voltron last year at this shop and figure I can just buy it online when I want it. Went back to the shop and the last Voltron Was waiting for me on the shelf at retail price. Good ol collector days when you have to hunt for the item physically and score it. I prefer this finish then SoC for sure. SoC just fingerprint magnet. No QC issues or paint problems at all with mine. Which shop did you go to if you don't mind me asking? I wouldn't checking out their store for myself. |

The Mad-Toys Voltron looks like the prototype they were doing to make the king of beast figure look more like voltron. Don’t think that was released publicly. Never saw the mad Toys with the red across chest. Only in photos that mad Toys put up on Facebook. Where did you get that one? |

I never knew it came out. Was watching mad Toys Facebook page. They were posting pics and info on V2 progression. Then they announced that they were handing off the mold to Icarus Toys and Icarus Toys was going to release the final version. can you tell me a little about it? Did it come in different box, or the King of Beast box? If you can post more pics I would appreciate it. Thank you. |

this is not the V2 KOB, this is a custom job on the V1 KOB
the V2 was released long ago some members already have it, and there will be another production run for the V2 but im not sure exactly when, since it keeps getting delays

this is not the V2 KOB, this is a custom job on the V1 KOB
the V2 was released long ago some members already have it, and there will be another production run for the V2 but im not sure exactly when, since it keeps getting delays

I see. Thanks for the info. I didn’t think mad Toys released a V2. I do follow Icarus Toys and LCM. I asked Icarus about the re-release or second release of their Voltron through their Facebook page. They informed me they have no plans to release the Voltron again. Lau from LCM refunded my preorder and changed the status from preorder to sold out. He told me if anything changes he will message me through Facebook. |

I agree! I have Icarus Dark, Regular colored Voltron, and KOB first edition w dual swords. They are a fantastic trio. |

Work has been nuts plus I’ve been focused on adding 2 glass shelves to one of my display cases. My room is in temporary disarray. I’m looking forward to snapping some pics soon though |

I had this preordered with LCM toys for the longest time. Now that I see that they will probably never rerelease this, I had to get a refund. If anybody here has an extra copy they would like to sell, please hit me up. eBay prices are of course too ridiculous, so hopefully I might have some luck here. Wishful thinking on my part, but you never know.

Once it all dried up I got lucky finding it at retail shop for $300.
To me this metallic version is like must have for Even casual Voltron collector like myself. I also have Dark Voltron too.
