a tiny misunderstanding lol i was talking about the 2nd version of the KOB, i already have the first one so i will spend the money on the SOC ( i preorder it as soon as they open it ) the SOC Voltron is a dream come true for every one of us i went miss it for anything  |

Nice photos of the official IcarusToys' Voltron (from member dante78 of TFW2005 forum):   Apart from the awfully thin waist (just like the v1 KoB), i really like the looks  and look, there're wrist swivel!!! not getting this one though, cos already have the SoC. But KoB v2 does look very good! Congrats to those who preordered him |

oh so the artwork i posted a while ago was for the box ! lol honestly it looks better than the older version the paint is more in your face, they could make it even better if they paint it just the like the promo photo on the box with white replacing sliver what did we learn here ? if a Chinese company want to release something they will do it NO MATTER WHAT  |

Does this one have bicep swivel? it does, scroll up couple of posts and you will see pics its also have an updated joints system according to some stores, most importantly the paint job is way better than what we have lol |

Honestly, the joints and added articulation are the most important to me and it makes the first edition feel like a complete scam. i actually agree with you improved joints and articulation come on the top of my list but the paint in V2 is also a major reason even tho im not a fan of repaints i wouldn't see the first one is a scam its more like we got a prototype comparing to the new one  I think I like this better than SOC. the thing about the SOC its pure nostalgia so its an easy win for most of us but that doesn't mean the KOB is a bad figure by any means both are great figures, at the end its all depend on the buyer eyes |

Idk. It looks pretty close to first version except for paint. I love my KOB but not sure if I will get second version.

Lol, paying dull price for a prototype or unfinished test shot marketed as final us a scam, my man. It's all good though. The v1 had served its purpose on my shelf and my only real problem is that I'm going to have a hard time selling it even with a big discount. |

I see the appeal of the Soc and I think it will sel better but all the pics I have seen I can't get over the waist and thigh proportions. Something about them bothers me. KOB is a little skinny in the waist but I think overall that I will get it if I get anything. Now if Src does a voltron that is more anime accurate I'll likely get that over either. I am ok with no transformation.
