I have a feeling it will be jeeg. Someone posted a magazine scan before that had pics or blue prints of mazinkaiser , gypsy danger, and jeeg in it. So far, jeeg is the only one not announced in that group.

We know because of the nomenclature GX-76. I mean as far as the upcoming locked box reveal. As far as I know, official hype about the box has never mentioned GX-76. On an unrelated note, I kinda wish we were getting a Dyna Robo SOC soon. We have got to be seeing a DynaRobo at some point soon. It's just to iconic to ignore. SOC Daipolon probably falls within the range of "not likely in our lifestimes". Bandai's not going to pay a small oddball studio to license something that obscure. Bandai directly owns Sunrise and has major ownership stakes in Toei and Tsubaraya. They aren't going to plunder Studio Knack's offerings or similar unless they are major A list with high demand. This is why you see a lot of these subjects done by Yamato, Arcadia, CM's, Evolution Toys, etc. They aren't within Bandai's walled gardens. It's also likely one of the reasons that at the end of the day Yamato and CM's failed. And why others will have trouble scaling beyond a certain niche point. They can't compete head to head with Bandai because Bandai has full or partial ownership of a substantial amount of the IP they use. Bandai owns Mazinger Z. They paid for it back in the day. their costs for using the property are much lower than a third party licensor. Plus it gives them the ability to manipulate the IP across platforms to maximize it. They can take a loss on a show if it sells toys, and vice versus. They are not subject to third party licensor review and approval of product. It's all internal or interdivisional. It gives a huge competitive advantage (and this is why toy companies making cartoons was long outlawed in the US.) (unless you are Children's television Workshop and PBS for some mysterious reason?) of the major non Bandai players, if you watch you can kind of get a feel for how they fit in around Bandai. Sen-Ti-Nel and Fewture largely fall within a category that Bandai views as Synergistic to their marketspace. They target that ultra high end consumer. It's a small high risk niche. Bandai plays some in that space with the DX stuff etc, but they don't want to dominate it as it is a higher risk lower margin use of facilities. It brings a nice return but not the best. So having others fill out the demand there keeps the market fresh satisfied and growing, without Bandai shelling out for it. Generally outside of a very tiny group, most customers of Sen-Ti-Nel and Fewture are also buying all of Bandai's offerings. (This is the same reason Tamara largely tolerates 3p). Others like HLPro, ET, Arcadia etc are lower tier players, getting by on the IP Bandai doesn't want. Their function to Bandai is to point to them and say "see! We're not a monopoly!"

There were actually a few blueprints that were revealed before: Source: === # ChoRyujin and GekiRyuJin - This would be awesome and goes good with the SOC GGG. I'm actually hoping Bandai will make GGGG someday. Source: === # Goridan - Looking at the blueprint, it looks like there will be openings (like SOC Baikanfu) in the arm areas. It also shows there are 3 different types of designs on how Goridan should look like. Source: === # Kotetsu Jeeg - This will be on the original Jeeg and would be using magnets. So chances might be those ones instead. But then again, who know's... Sentinel will release a Riobot Shin Getter, so we might finally get a SOC Shin Getter Robo! I personally hope to see a SOC Might Gaine, GGGG, and Bismarck. Dairugger XV would probably be stretching it a little For Bismarck, give us the 'team' into the package and I will die with no regrets

If it's jeeg for the love of mankind it better not have those damn magnetic joints! Cool concept but a real pain in the rear. Jeeg is long overdue and deserve to be next to his comrades but please please give us one WITHOUT those damn magnetic joints ... Of course my two cents...

Jeeg feels likely for 76. Can anyone picture Bandai sneaking a classic anime accurate Gundam in as GX-78? Just to play with the pun.

SRC Jeeg is awful. Besides the horrid magnets are kind of the point of Jeeg. It's like making a $1000 Transformer that doesn't transform. Oh wait...

I really think Grendizer will be next (hopefully) but jeeg is a very complicated design for a toy with those damn magnets I remember the shin jeeg being a flop.No thanks... And let's not talk about the damn SRC. Such high hopes for nothing... I guess we will have to wait and see what it is.... (Groizer X) 😈

Since we still don't know how is the next SOC GX-76, how about we put a list of unexpected robots that might appears as the GX-76? You know "expect the unexpected from Bandai". Here's mine: - Goshogun. - Srungle. - Zeorymer. - Gundam RX-78-2. - Tetsujin 28 FX. - Convoy / Optimus Prime. - Dai Apolon. - Groizer X. - Braiger. - Baxingar. - Sasuraiger. - GaoFighGar. - Big Dai X. - Might Gaine. - Dendoh. What yours?

Ooohh, Dendoh. I'd definitely pay for TWE Data Weapons set and Full Armor kit. I checked out the SRC Dendoh and Ogre, which while really nice didn't really grab me. Sadly, an SOC version probably won't have effect parts for the turbine bits.

I don't know how many times that I mention it. I hope they will make SOC Dai Apolon. But I think we might see another mazinger soon - "SOC Mazinger SKL"!

Really do hope Bandai would make SOCs of the other main Brave robots tho Though many would love a Might Gaine or Goldran,I do wonder what J-Decker would look as a premium toy. Granted an SoC Great Goldran would be beyond amazing.

I would love to see a premium toy of him that does have that shininess but limited to certain parts of the body.

And seeing how some of the biggest draws of Goldran was the amount of chrome they gave to such a figure. Would be a tough feat to balance it all should Bandai do an SoC of Goldran.
