But the metal content is minimal !! I mean why the lower legs are not Metal ? for the asked price at least put more metal in the damn thing  Par for the course with Sentinel but the figure is so exquisite it doesn't matter which is also usually the case for Sentinel. |

It could use some more metal in the legs, feel a bit cheated from due Cast content but still an amazing piece. it’s a must and got it preorder already, didn’t like Kaiser that much he looks weird, my personal opinion that is but this Shin getter looks fantastic.:.:

I had to cancel my pre-order for this. Between other figures/games coming out early next year, I can't justify this on top of things that have bigger priority.

Everything looks so good but the weapons are so halfassed... Which I find very strange. They obviously put a lot of effort, time, and passion into the figure. The figure itself looks like it came straight out of the anime so why change the weapons so much? The over sized weapons are a defining feature for Shin Getter, as much as the bat wings are. The previous Getter releases had their weapons signature weapons and Mazinkaiser had the over sized sword. My only guess is weight was a problem. Sentinel does not use ratcheting joints which limits how much weight the figure can support. I imagine the tomahawk and scythe were too heavy for the joints. Most of the weight of the tomahawk and scythe would be in the air and away from the elbow joints, possibly making the arms droop. I do not have Mazinkaiser but I have read/heard that the ab joint cannot support the scrander.
And second problem could be the price. It is already expensive and maybe they had to cut the accurate weapons to make it more "affordable" to a larger market. It is already at $300 with the smaller weapons, anything higher and you are cutting out even the die hard Getter Robo fans. Shin Getter does not include any effect parts either, unlike Mazinkaiser. If Sentinel decides to release an option set for Shin Getter with the proper weapons and effect parts I would buy it. |

Cant wait for your pictorial.
If it looks this good in report shots, just imagine under a proper light with your photograph prowess.

i went with Fewture Shin Getter 1
however if you guys recommend this, and it was available for a reasonable price i might go for it
