none of the vs series are part of the getter robo saga So it's not canon then? Or another universe?

From what I recall the Getter robo mythology from Ishikawa has 2 cannon universes (The original run and something). Anything else is a spin off.

The Getter series is one of the few that has a messy continuity. Used to collect a bunch of Super Robot War manga, each volume penned by various artists with spin-off stories. But Ken Ishikawa always penned the front story, where Shin Getter took center spots. While Shin first show up in Getter Robo Go, these shorts formed the meat of the Shin manga in the 90s, riding the hype train of the SRW games at the time. But these don't necessary follow Go's event or timeline either. So it is hard to have one definitive canon for Shin. It is very scattered by volumes of short stories, once you include the manga, and not just the anime shows.

Is "Mazinger Z Edition: The Impact" consider canon for Mazinkaiser or something completely different? I have started getting into Mazinkaiser and watched the first four episodes on youtube. I couldn't find the the last three (I believe there are seven total) but that lead into wanting to look up Mazinger. I have The Impact on my to watch list and read a good portion of Shin Mazinger Zero. I have read chapter 21 but can't find the rest in english, does anyone know where to read the rest?

The sliding shoulder armor is quite hot! The articulation generally follows the same patterns as their Mazinkaiser which is mostly a good thing with the exception being the abdominal joint not being quite strong enough to hold up the torso with the large wings on Mazinkaiser. I hope Sentinel pays special attention to the tightness of the waist and ab articulation to ensure it can fully support the weight of both the body and wings.

Damn...
I just moved to a new place...yes again. When i upacked one of the 12 toy boxes, i got SRC Kaiser (they are all bubble wrapped so i cant tell which is which..), i said ugh and put it back immediately. Then i got the venerable Sentinal Getter 1, i went Ah....and displayed him with a moan of satisfaction.
Nice story brah, but what's your point? The POINT is "brah," Sentinal Getters are CLASSIC! Since now ive seen the diecast and articulation reveal of this guy, I might have to get this. I have no more excuses left.
Just DONT tell my wife!!!
