Well the Riobot one Feels like a Blend of the Arma & Manga faces (Also handsome as some toy reviewer put it) Whoever sculpted that Riobot head really know what they were doing. Handsome indeed, and it strikes a real good balance on accuracy and stylization (since we are comparing all stylized figures). And if you pay attention, the head sculpt also has a lot of depth with a very long deep cranium and forehead. The size of the eyes, 'mouth', jawline, everything's placement is just right, with the result of the head looking good together at ALL angles. Unlike the Metal Build head, with eyes too long and face too narrow and shallow, only look good at some angle but odd in others. Meanwhile, CCSToys has the infamous funny eyes and exceptionally small 'mouth'.

I do wish someday we get this upscaled , I like it when my Getter's are Jumbo sized (on a side note I do hope they Tackle Getter G, I'm a sucker for that unit ) .

For once, these two offerings don't overlap as much. Riobot cater to stylized aesthetics with top tier articulation. While Blitzway is giving up articulation for top tier anime accuracy. Extreme of two spectrums. Also the size may come into play. Riobot for the SOC, Metal Build scale. Blitzway for the big boys like Fewture and CCSToys. So really depend on what you are looking for. Personally though, I would pick Riobot Renewal over Blitzway if I have to pick just one, as I like it more. But I may get the Blitzway one as well if it turns out awesome.

As our friend says it's a matter of scale to me. If your collection is more in the SOC scale tye riobot would be a better option. If you like to go bigger go with blitzway. Personally, I found SOC scale easier to manipulate, so funnier too.

A detail look on the Renewal Shin Getter 1. Paint looks very nice and very glossy, but seems like the new axe is too big and heavy for its own good, for the figure's arms to handle. Doesn't look like there are any joint enhancement on the limbs. The same old plastic joints just like my original release.

What I hope is at least they retool the joint fitment a bit, so some of the joints are tighter/sturdier than the old one. But have to wait until I get my hands on mine to tell. The more recent Riobot releases the past few years have tight joints through out. Hopefully Sentinel at least bring it to their new standard. Maybe mine will arrive in a couple weeks from now. Still sitting in the warehouse waiting for other orders to be shipped together.

seems like the new axe is too big and heavy for its own good, for the figure's arms to handle. It was already an issue with both their OG Shin and Black. Plus the hip joints completely gave up after a few years: I sold them last year and when I checked them, they were still able to stand but flying poses became impossible. I know materials will deteriorate/age and that it's complicated to make long lasting good joints but it would be cool for companies to take that into consideration and make them easily accessible and easy to disassemble to let people fix them after a few years.
