We're more likely to get an Infinity-style Getter as an HG kit if the Grendizer is any indication. It looks like Big B may be contemplating an "INFINITISM" kit line to do the usual suspect DynaPro mechs in MazInfinity style. And bonus points for Getter 1s since they can just add extra parts to get Black Getters. They could even thingys about it and put Black as a P-Bandai.

Why are they doing a silhouette reveal now when they showed the full figure over a year ago?
maybe they update (changed) the sculpt a bit ?

A Blog I go to says, According to TD discussion,
based on one paragraph in Japanese they got hold of says it will be 30cm Gattai "Chogokin X" figure....
So three Gatter Vehicle forming Getter Emperor "one" robot?

A Blog I go to says, According to TD discussion, based on one paragraph in Japanese they got hold of says it will be 30cm Gattai "Chogokin X" figure.... So three Gatter Vehicle forming Getter Emperor "one" robot? That's the general speculation of it. And make sense on the coloration of the prototype from last year. Torso and backpack is blue, while hip and thighs are mustard yellow. If it has no combination gimmick, they would have gone all red like the manga cover art, instead of the messy (but traditional) color scheme. I do look forward to the update reveal and hopefully some drastic improvements on the sculpt and colors. Getter Emperor is pretty significant in the Getter Universe, and its pretty rare to even see a toy made, let alone with combination gimmick. If it looks decent, I may still pick it up, even though it is kind of an acquired taste.😅  |

Been forever since there was a combining Getter under the SoC name as the combinations as they are in the anime is physically impossible. |

It's a tamashii mix so it may not get a number. I own the ohrai mechagodzilla which was a tamashii mix also and it has no number (it is not in the tamashii soc page either)

I was thinking of getting it but I wanted an honest opinion. I think is a great figure. It has lots of detail and you can see there's a lot of care for it. It has a good amount of diecast (more than I thought) so it is pretty hefty. Articulation is good for a combiner. The only downside, if I may call it that, is that combining is a bit tricky and I was afraid of breaking something all the time. Other than that is a solid figure and looks really cool, in fact is grew on me once I hold it in my hands. |

A part of me is telling me I should pick this guy up to support future combiner bots from Bandai, so that they'll keep producing others. The other part of me is going hmmm... the color looks odd and I haven't read and will probably be too busy to consume the manga so how does this guy tie into the whole getter robo series arch and do I really want him on my shelf or should I just stay focused. Really want a review from someone to get a better sense on this one...
