In terms of the waist connection, mine is secure. I did look at Wotafa's review when he pointed out when you push down, there is a click to secure it. So I didn't struggle to get that lock and worked fine. But I have a feeling some of yours either comes faulty or you have tried to correct/secure it many times that the connection plastic start wearing out, and stay loose. Just my guess. Hope its not the case. *Edit Just went and test the waist connection. Very secure that it doesn't come off even when I pull hard. Only will come apart if I really have to force it (which I didn't and then put it back on shelf). Time stamped at the connection segment, where Wotafa basically say "push it down like this, but that's not set in yet. You need to push it down further once more, until you hear a 'click', like this..." Ohh thanks! I didn’t even know about that! I got it to click on, which helps, but it’s still not as secure as I’d like unfortunately.

I’ve been curious about this one since release but waited for it to go on sale since it’s little smaller scale than what I collect.
Like others said the transformation was kind of intriguing and confusing at times but I got it to work on my first try at it. I didn’t reference any videos or hardly looked at the instruction sheet. Actually the instruction manual made It more confusing for me.
I enjoyed the combination and transformation of the engineering put into this without using instructions.

Good to hear you had a good experience with this. Unfortunately for some folks that the waist connection became a stumbling block for them and got loose, and greatly affect the experience with this figure. While different and fiddly during transformation, it is not half bad since mine's waist connection clicks together pretty tight.

I have plan to buy these figure but since read the review of gattai experience im postoned it ... so do you think good to keep it? IMHO, it is more for Getter fans that would love a Getter Emperor (the first ever of its kind, a SOC no less). But if you are just someone that want very solid and simple combiner that are clean and zero headaches with not a lot of love for Getters, this may not be for you, due to the somewhat origami nature of the combination/transformation. It is a good SOC, and I like it. Watching some videos beforehand also helped me not mess up/wear out the waist connection so it holds together tight. But I can see for folks that has a messed up waist, the experience won't be a fun one. A good (not awesome) SOC, quite different engineering from your other previous SOC experience, and a rare character being made. But objectively, not on the top end among the SOC recommendation list. I think I gave it a 7.5 out of 10 in my short review a couple pages back. Check it out if you want to see some of the pros & cons. Gold also did a detail review: bravefortress.com/gallery/soul-of-chogokin-gx-87-getter-emperor/

I agree with mpchi. Unless the design really clicks with you or you're a big Getter Robo fan it wouldn't be my top SOC recommendation. Still, this was q very surprising release and I'm happy Bandai decided to release it.
