Thanks for the reply. Iām considering to pre-ordering the new DX Mazinger How is Ami-Ami? Are they reliable with Pre-orders? Thanks Very reliable. Been around for many years, literally the biggest online import stores there is, if you don't count Amazon Japan and the likes. It is the no.1 go-to store for preorders for a lot of people. The matter is more about if you are fast enough to secure a preorder there, rather than if they are reliable.

Guys I have question , if I have order from amiami and I choose shipping method ems , do the change it to dhl suddenly? Because if so it will cost too much š„² They normally won't change it to a different method from what I remember. And will notify you with email if something is wrong with your selected method and suggest a change. However, EMS is not always the cheapest, really depends on what you are shipping. Sometimes EMS is cheaper, other times more expensive than DHL/FedEx, since it is a different mailing system.

One important note on Amiami:
You can change the shipping method once you get the invoice. When you get the email, they'll try & steer you into paying through your reply, with the shipping method you initially chose. Don't do that. Instead, go to your account, then the payment page & manually choose your shipping method. You'll see all the options, with their prices. This is the only stage where you can see prices. I've already saved money several times by doing this. You can't really predict which option will be cheaper, because they don't tell you the size of the shipping box.

Pardon me, but has anyone had recent experience with Nin Nin Game? If so, how did your pre-orders or purchases go? Thank you!

Pardon me, but has anyone had recent experience with Nin Nin Game? If so, how did your pre-orders or purchases go? Thank you! Been shopping there for years. They are good, and one of the go-to shops to get Bandai Web Exclusives (Anime-Export is another). Their customer points system is pretty good too, get you $10-20 savings very often on future purchase, or you can accumulate them into one hefty coupon if you want. They are a bit slow in terms of processing and shipping out orders, can have a week or two delay compare to other shops like HLJ, Amiami, HobbySearch and such. But their prices are pretty good with good discount, so a good place to get things if you are not in a hurry. But for sought out items, they often sold out initial batch, then raise the price a little for 2nd and 3rd batch to make more profit. So you tend to see them have preorders up longer, but at higher prices (because you already missed the cheap ones early on). That's Nin-Nin in a nutshell. There was some talk about them in Page 1 of this thread.

I found a pretty good deal on suruga-ya for a used Hi-Metal R Xabungle 40th, and a used set of the Riobot SRX. Shipping was reasonable too and with the weak yen I decided to go ahead. Shipping was quite fast, but when I went to pick up the package, the shipping box was in pretty terrible shape. Some of the boxes inside got messed up as well. Overall, the price was good, but very unimpressed with their packaging. I also sent them a note about it, and they kept telling me to take it up with the post office and they will follow up with Japan Post. They have not provided any kind of compensation or anything, and basically told me to take it up with the post office myself. Any other online shop in Japan that I've shopped from had great packaging. In terms of customer service, they are way below the level of service that ShowZ from China provides. If I have any packaging damage, they own up to it and make it right with minimal intervention from me. I expect packages to look like this coming from AliExpress, but not from a Japanese store that specializes in collectibles. Won't be shopping with them again.

Very sorry to hear that (I know too well how that feels), but good to know about this Suruga-ya.

I did see the talk earlier in the thread but wanted to check if anyone else had recent experience purchasing from them this year. I had reached out to them some time last year on social media about an SOC I wanted to purchase but received no response. They are currently the only ones I can see that are still offering Metal Build Dragon Scale Sirbine, so I will probably be making my first pre-order with them. Are their shipping rates similar to others Japanese stores?

I too hate when this happens. That suruga-ya box is way too soft and filmsy for international shipping, just like what Amazon uses.

Are their shipping rates similar to others Japanese stores? Shipping rate is decent. You get to see and choose how much shipping to pay during checkout, to see if they are fair or not before you finalize the order.

They must have taken orders over their alloted slots and couldn't secure the additional numbers needed. Amiami still have DX Mazinger. www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=FIGURE-155443

Hi,
Anyone is facing a return issue with Showz and Gundammit shipping. I ordered CSS Gunbuster, Sky X Red and Black Getters and Blitzway Black getter (Which didn't include any Magnet or Battries) and all of them got retuned as they never left China. the status I see in the shipping Tracking is (Abnormal) Contraband.
I thnik the shipping Compay they are dealing with (Yanwen and Imile) are terrible.
TH'x
